How many rackets do the pros carry?

    Those professionals, champions, when they attending a match such as World Champion and Olympic, how many racket they need to prepare and carry?:cool:

    i thought i read somewhere that it was 8 racquets, 4 strung at their preferred tension, 2 of them 1 lb higher and 2 of them 1lb lower.

    If I remember it correctly from ants' post from another thread Taufik carries 9 Armortec900T on his bag during competion. Regarding the tension I don't have any idea.

    all 3 above posts are true.....:)
    as we can see, minimum of 8 pcs
    some carry 8, some carry 9, some carry 10, some carry up to ...... (we dont even know how many)
    one important point, all the rackets are the same, maybe some different string tension with same string.......:)

    i carry 2-3rackets. two the same, one different. Cos it depends on my feel for that day, if i feel good about one racket, i'll use that.

    I carry 6 rackets every time.All differents.There's like 3-4 rackets that i often use during the game.The rest..only some times.

    LD carries 8 incl. one that's aerodynamically designed for throwing long distances. :eek: :eek:

    Y ask the people how many rackets this PRO are carrying? We dont even know y they carry a number of them. In my opnion, its a reserve for the eventualities.

    Just wondering if it is just for show? Hoe often do the strings break? With the current carbon fibre strings it would not be often. During my school days we could afford just a racket. At best we may carry two. By doing so, we are actually flaunting our better economic status to our peers.;)
