Let me just get this straight, you're asking for suggestions for a good smashing racket?

OK. So you're an attacking player looking for a racket with a maximum budget of RM250, which is roughly equal to £46. However, I would guess that £46 goes further in Malaysia than over here in the UK.

The Carbonex 21 is old, but an excellent racket that is still used by many good players. I've never tried a Pro-ace racket.

Can you get Karakal rackets in Malaysia?

hi ken,i am a pro ace dealer and i can tell u that titanium dream is not a suitable racket for smashing coz teh racket is too light and is not recommended for hard hitters.if u want to smash, make sure u are finding a racket that is widebody.i can recommend u soem rackets here....

    pro ace
    thunderbolt-2
    thunderbolt -5
    titanium-11
    titanium-8
    widebody-55

I recommend the proace thunderbolt 3 or 5. 2 is a just a little head-heavy, 3 is head-heavy and 5 is almost balanced like the AT700. They have just enough flex to help you generate some more power and are all well within your budget. I didn't quite like the TB5 due to it being too head-heavy but there are a few friends who swear by it.

Ti-Dream is too light for sustained smashing at 5U.

The Cab21SP is a really nice racket but is a little heavy by today's standards (3-4U). I saw a few Cab21 at 3U but they still feel a little heavy compared to my Cab30 (3U). I personally like ovals so I am totally biased towards the Cabs. If you hit the sweetspot in a Cab, your shot will explode.

I like Classic Sports at Toa Payoh. Mr Soh not the cheapest but at least the prices are reasonable and I like his stringing. There is also Artic Sports in Sembawang. Not sure if Artic does Proace though. Do a search and you can dig up their contacts.

You get a wider choice from shops in Queensway Shopping Centre and Bras Basah, you need to know what you are looking for or may kena tipu by the shopkeepers. Bring a friend who knows his stuff to the best prices there.

The cheapest source for ProAce and APACS rackets are up north in Malaysia :).

You can have as many rackets of the same one it doesn't matter. International players have 10+ of the same racket does that mean they are fake as well?

    This is beside the point.

How many of people here are ACTUALLY nationally ranked/international players?

    There you go.

Also, ArcSabres are expensive top of the line racquets. Unless he's sponsored by Yonex, it is much more probable to think his AS10s are fake especially when he has four than they are real.

International players/nationally ranked players get their racquets for free.
