lol.. It annoys them if you can beat them with a no-brand racquet.

Doesn't matter to me...just walk up and beat them like you would to any other player weaker than you.

I actually don't mind beginners holding steel Yonex racquets..

Some day, I want to see a noob play with Lin Dan's AT700 strung at around 35lbs and injuring himself.. hehe

Noobs, which is kinda offensive I think, are supposed to use racquets that meets their level of play.

Come'on. Anybody can play with any racket. There is no point using a racket that is beyond your level but if the player likes it, why should that bother me?

I have beaten player with better rackets than mine and has been beaten by players using worse rackets. No issues at all since I lost to/won the players not the racket.

    Why bother getting irritated?
If they can afford it, let them enjoy the racquet.

I bet everyone at one point would have played with the previous Yonex high end equivalents, at a "noobish" skill level.

Sports are meant to be enjoyed, with whatever equipment you have :)

    I did not :D.

I couldn't afford those top rackets when I was newbie. By the time I can afford, I know better. I now use a Cab30ms which fortunately does not quite qualify as high-end despite my still rather noobish skill level.

There are lots of rich people thinking that buying the most expensive racket will make them good.

You're restrained by budget ;). Like me when I started.

Now, I just try playing with any available racquets. I do use CAB30MS as my 2nd racquet, first one being Ti-10 2nd Gen (which I bought for AU$110 :D - about the price of a "low-end" in AU)

Sports are just meant to be enjoyed. To put it simply, "it's just a game" :D

haha i always get a laugh out of it when i see like a beginner player come all decked out with yonex racquet wearing yonex shoes, shorts, shirts, and bag like everything yonex and they kinda have that attitude that they think there all that yet they can barly play decent shots. doesnt piss me off at all just makes me laugh to see them like that, if i play them though whatever doesnt matter to me at all that they have all that stuff.

lol it might be probally adds 10% more comfort than any other brand and gives an extra 20% more movement speed on court :p (for those of you who have seen the "yonex bag technology" tags will get it)

the only way its actual intimidation is if they are sponsored and are an international/national player lol. or else they just grab all the attention and lose it again when people relize there nothing amazing or all that. even then i dont know if there very cool underpants could save them haha.

Yup, well i said "when they enter the badminton hall", and not "when they play on the courts"...

That may attract too much attention when people see you. They will certainly be imitated. Even the owner of the court will ask you to leave because you are too "powerful".... Hahaha:D
