^Looks like you go to the same shop I go to City: London Name of Shop: United Sports Cost for BG65 (local/USD): I believe £14 for the strings + restring Cost for BG80 (local/USD): They don't stock BG80's atm £8 for a restring if you give them your own strings. Rating -1/0/+1 (bad/ok/good): 0 Story- They broke my BG 85's once when restringing and cos they dont sell 85's they gave me 68ti.
City : Surabaya (Ngagel Area) BG6 -> Rp 30,000 -> 3US$ BG68Ti -> Rp 60,000 -> 6US$ BG66 -> Rp 55,000 -> 5,5US$ NBG95 -> Rp 70,000 -> 7US$ These are the price I remembered ~_~... Since I used mostly BG68Ti and NBG95... But I do look for the cheapest Yonex (for a friend of mine) and planning to try BG66... Which I won't since the price was just 0.5$ from BG68Ti T.T... I don't know for providing my own string... But for their string, the string job is free of charge and the weight is up to us... And of course if we went above their estimation too far... Broken racket and string will be our own responsibility T_T...
I live in northern suburbs in Chicago areas. Can anyone recommend a shop which provides good stringing services? thanks
AK Badminton&Tennis in Newark, CA BG 65 $21 BG 65Ti $22 BG 66 $23 BG 68Ti $23 BG 70 $22 BG 80 $24 BG 85 $25 NBG 95 $28 NBG 98 $30 AK Badminton uses the Yonex ES5 PRO Stringing machine, the same machine they use at the World Championships and the US Open AK Badminton&Tennis 7691 Thornton Ave Newark, CA 94560 510-315-0005
that'spretty expensive, I think stringing fee should be free if you buy their string. places in china strings it for free.
They dont have $2000 Morgages to pay in China, do they? People in America gotta survive, and when you put out a good "QUALITY" string job I think it is worth it. When I string for professional tennis players like Venus or Serena Williams or 2008 US Open Finalist Andy Murray, I dont hear them complain. They are satisified with the work done in the States. How do you make money with free labor?
if u think so, u should fedex your racket to china and have it done there. Most people in north amercia don't live with rice and salted fish. Badminton is alot cheaper in china, yes. Now, may i ask why did u migrated to California, USA?
In US, the labor charge is usually much more than the material itself. In a lot of Asian nations, the material is $$$, but labor is very cheap. That's why, many ppl believe a high school student working part time for KFC might make more than a chief engineer in CHN or some other asian nations. I don't mind to give "free" service, if you buy BG65 from me for $20 per pack.
Hi vatovey Could you provide me details of this shop please? Can't seem to find them on Google and I live in Cardiff
