    Hey,

I am comparing my mp99 which is real to my friend's which I am unsure if it real or not.

    I notice 2 major differences:

    1) The paint job is slightly different, on my friend's mp99, on the shaft where it says "ultimum ti", there is some silver lining going thru the words. On mines, there is red lining.

    2) Another major difference I see is that for my friend's racquet, on the side of the shaft where it says "ultimum ti + high modulus graphite", that is where the engraved serial number is. For mines, it is on the opposite side (the serial number is on the side where it says "even balance / slim shaft / made in japan"

Also to note, the serial numbers for my friend's racquet is "4735116 200638TW"

She told me the racquet was purchased in China. When I play with it, it feels a little head heavy compared to mines.

My racquet is a TH racquet, so I'm not sure if the differences I mentioned is because of the country code.

I hope I was not too confusing? Any insight would be appreciated.

    Thank you!

    David

The serial number is in my post 4735116 200638TW...

Other than the notable differences, the cosmetic of the racquet looks like the real deal.

A picture will definitely show if its genuine or not. Just because the serial and date code are valid, it does not mean that the racquet is genuine. There are other things to look at as well and a picture or two would make things much easier.
