So, I got it right for :

    Bao vs Boesen
    Hu vs Wong
    Chen vs Ng

but the 'biggest' news should be Peter Gade's win over Chen Hong.

I didn't catch the scores for the other matches, but here are my assesment for the next round. (Someone post the results in a full post for Round 16, please)

Peter GADE vs BAO Chunlai 50:50
    - A former world's best returning to form from his injury, but Bao Chunlai ain't simple to beat either. Close.

WONG Choon Hann vs CHEN Yu 55:45
    - Chen Yu is relatively new and inexperienced compared to Wong but like any Chinese player, he is not to be taken likely. Close, but Wong CH's experience should see him through but Chen won't go down without causing a scare or two.

LIN Dan vs XIA Xuanze 55:45
    - An in-form Chinese vs a well-known but struggling counterpart. Whom should one choose? To be honest, I have yet to see Lin Dan play but from his current form, I think he'd edge Xia in a close game. Still, Xia may be struggling NOW, but could suddenly find form in a tough competition like this. Still, I'd go for Lin Dan.

ZHU Weilun vs HARIYANTO Agus 55:45
Gee, I know none of these guys but I'm going for the flavour of the month (year? century? ;) ). Zhu may be new but as above, he is first and foremost from the same stable as Xia and Lin, I'd say he'd go past Agus.

    My Prediction of Hugo's Prediction
All Chinese Semi Finals. Save you the hassle, dude. :D

Haha, you know me pretty well from my previous posts, good sir!!

But actually I've already posted my picks and they aren't all China semis but very close though!! They're in this thread:http://www.badmintonforum.com/vb/showthread.php?threadid=12551&perpage=25&pagenumber=2.

But since you made this new MS last 8 thread, I will repost them:

BaoChunLai vs Gade 60/40 - Bao is 2-0 against Gade this year and is looking in good form but Gade's on the comeback trail though.

WONG Choong Hann vs ChenYu 60/40 - Wong is looking in good form having won at Taipei and now out seeking to recapture his CHN Open title. Chen Yu has never bt. him in 4 tries.

LinDan vs Xia XuanZE 55/45 - Xia's bt. Lin twice this year already but this time Lin is well in-form while Xia is not up to his 100% ability.

Zhu Weilun vs HARIYANTO Agus 60/40 - Of all 8 quarter-finalists, these 2 are probably considered the weakest. But I think the underdog(Zhu) is going to take it, with his impressive run. I don't think I'ver ever seen Park Tae Sang beaten by such a heavy margin before!

Of course I'm hoping for these results but I only hit 5 of 8 for the last 16 predictions.

I think Agus and Zhu are 55-45.

Sheesh, is this "Poke Fun at Hugo" Day???:D You should make this thread into a sticky as this type of moment won't come often!:)

And also, technically I did pick a Chinese to win in that matchup if you get the drift....:p :p
