Lin Dan, the David Beckham of badminton, set to light up Rio 2016 Olympic test event http://www.rio2016.com/en/news/lin-...n-set-to-light-up-rio-2016-olympic-test-event
Poor attendance for this Olympic Games test event, huge difference when London used World Championships 2011 as prelude of 2012 London Games. Lin Dan will scoop 5,500 point easily here and maybe clean sweep by China team
Yup, each group consists of 3 or 4 player => http://bwf.tournamentsoftware.com/sport/draw.aspx?id=46509959-0C51-4D97-8874-E86A12EEB2F5&draw=1
please try to provide translation as most members do not understand Chinese: "after flying 26 hours finally arrived at Rio. almost spent a day in the air, two words: faint"
BadmintoWorld.tv covering Court 1, Hurray! BWF's youtube channel,BadmintoWorld.tv, is covering Court 1 live, Hurray! For 25 Nov 2015, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wjGlIuC8LY0 Seems like the time difference between Brasil and Macau means that they will be able to cover both events.... Germany's top XD just won in close 2-1 games against Canada's more lowly-ranked pair-- are they deliberately "holding back" for more practice? Cos the Canada pair wasn't playing that great either... Meanwhile India's top MD (playing very casually) now looking to trash Brazil MD with 21-13 in the very fast first game. ... Not great entertainment while I wait for Lin Dan at 12:30pm Brazil time, to be matched up against a Slovakian who played quite well yesterday (but then his Brazilian opponent wasn't much of a challenge) -- Lin Dan also sailed thru his first match yesterday... Anyway, other than aberrations like the Germany XD, most matches are settled in 2 games-- this being the group stages where the draws are quite random-- so Lin Dan's match should start on time and end in a jiffy... blink and you'll miss it.
Justin L ......Lin Dan's match in an hour or so....You can watch on the link above given by Forestal.
What? Live scores for court 1? I'm watching it on BadmintonWorld.tv-- everything else get updated promptly (a few minutes later) on tournamentsoftware.com. Sigh, Court 2 started on time but Court 1's 11am WS match is going the full distance-- so Lin Dan's 12:30pm match will probably be delayed by another hour... guess I'll have to skip it. Doesn't help that the Chinese WS player on court 1 is doing a pretty imitation of the Marin "roar"...
Atleast Marin's scream is totally different from this chinese girl's noise. It's weird to hear. And also her mannerism after every point she won,... Totally weird.
