I've heard that the Flying Dragon has amazing courts and they have and amazing coach. (And coaches) Apparently, she has won a silver medal in doubles in the Olympics. I was wondering if there was anybody who went to Flying Dragon and could tell me if it would be worth joining or not?
i joined yesterday. if you want coach price and lesson fees for summer i'll post it up later today. the silver medalist from sydney and gold from asian game in korea is 60 per hr actually too expensive for my parents to afford :crying:
awwwww dont cwy, sugarbunny... ^______________^ if you can get a couple friends together of same skill level, then you can do semiprivate lessons thats a lil more affordable for each person. dont know wat the rates are, but the coaches do minigroups of 2,3 maybe 4 people together xiaoyu
LOl Im currently taking group lessons from flying dragon. They have about 9 courts, and have brand new, clean facilities. THey even have a concession stand. ANd yea, it'll cost you to go private whin nanyan huang(hayley) whose the head coach. You can go wtih a friend have have 52$ for both of you in a semi private lesson. IF thats too much, try out for whats called "the elite team". THese player are relativly good. YOu just need to try out and get in. Its not that hard(you just need to be good). Once you get in, you get group lessons wtih the head coach at liek 20$ per lesson (2 hrs). ITs 3 times a week, and very affordable. Btw, there 3 eilite teams I think, and all of them are like primary/secondary guys.
sounds like a good coach! I'm guessing from the conversation above that its not the Olympic medallist. what's his name and how much does it cost $/hr? what's the price before/after getting a membership?
how good do you have to be to become and elite? do you have to play for a certain time at flying dragon to become and elite?
nope. the first time i went to try out they were like "you should be fine in elite 2" but then i took group lessons cause i had a busy semester. i might start elite in september. but i have to see my schedule first
you don't really need to be that good. Well you have to be Above average i guess. My coach says if you're really nice and you really want to join the team they probably will let you join. i think most people in the team have played at least 1-2 years
I just realized when a member brings his guest to play, each guest will have to pay $3. Court Rental + 1 time Membership ($80/year) + Guest fee ($3/guest) = Pricey
lawl she jus went to take care of her club back home. she told me the day before she left to continu my prviate lessns wit another coach til shes back.
