Orange and green frame, I think it should be it, but who cares if the played weirdly. But I can see their marketing team doing a good job there. IMO, yonex will throw bunch of their new rackets(duora10) to pro players for a season so they can have feedback from them on what to do next.
yup that's the Duora. the word now it's purpose built for LCW so I don't think any other players are going to use it yet.
well if Yonex pays me that kind of money to like something. I will like it. LOL I'm liking the racquet though I gotta say. After a while you know what to expect from each side of the racquet.
I'd just be happy if they made a Nanoray Z-Speed without the stupid bendy bits in the middle of the head and "Arcsaber" written on it.
Those who would like to watch 'Duora' in action, there's a live telecast of the tournament LCW is playing later today on Malaysia astro sports channel
I am just really curious as to WHY bwf channel even do geo-blocked their livestream or replies match in certain country? Copyright issue? License? Money? Sponsorship? It's not like blockbuster hollywood movies that was created with hundred million of $$.
Because there are pay-to-view TV service in those countries offering badminton live coverage. But to SG's case I can view most content in 2014, and all of 2015 content in BWF YT channel without using a VPN.... Anyone else in SG facing geo-blocking? Msia I have no idea..
Currently now for me, at least, Singapore can be viewed. Some of the countries that were blocked (in 2013) includes Singapore, Malaysia, Germany, Japan, namely some of the stronger badminton countries. Not sure what your broadcaster (Rogers?) puts it on what channel, but if it shows on PayTV, you're blocked.
I'm pretty sure that NO channel in Canada will broadcast badminton. It's just not important enough here unfortunately. Even if they did broadcast, I can't watch it because I'm not subscribed to any cable/satellite service.
It is very unfortunate that Indonesia is part of geo blocking list. Not that badminton is very much a national sport here, but most of the local tv station do not show live coverage of international super series tournament (luckily BCA Indonesia Open 2015 was still on live coverage, not sure about next week world champ in jakarta). Hence, people like me are heavily rely on youtube channel for either live or reply matches. These pay-to-view tv has been a pain in @$$ for some time now. Not that it isnt necessary to subscribe since tv is very much dead at home if compared to gadgets or notebook, the ads during the game are also very annoying.
Looks like the Duora 10 will be priced at 26,000 Yen. Available 2U & 3U, G4 & G5 in Japan. As has been mentioned Green one side, Orange the other. Availability: To be announced. http://shuttle-house.com/new-cgi/page2_i.php?mk=YONEX&lan=e&hid=DUO10
Nice find. Price isn't too bad to be honest, I expect it to go down from that eventually. 2U will definitely be just for Japan like always.
