Sorry, off topic George, there is no ECL. Just the Champions League. It's the de facto tournament of its kind and is branded accordingly. Any other copycat version e.g. Asian Champions League tag the "Asian" in front of it to differentiate it. Another example is the World Cup. Nobody who knows anything about football call it the "Football World Cup". Other sports have to tag on their name to make the differentiation, e.g. the Cricket or Rugby world Cup.
