Very thorough list by limsy. But sometimes, I really wonder if a result like #78 beating #64 really counts as an upset.

Haha, I did recognize your extremely thorough efforts. I do think keeping track of upset matches are important, for example it's great for spotting rising stars. I guess my point was that there's always rank uncertainty. I wouldn't consider #10 beating #9 a true upset, even though technically the result is "not expected" on paper.

The question in the mind of many Malaysians is what is next for KKK/TBH? I recall Rexy made such statement as spliting this pair if they don't perform well in China Open. Personally I think it's in-evitable to split them up as these two players are still young and still capable of playing high level badminton. The question is will Rexy have enough gut to actually pull the trigger? I know the players have threatened to retire if they are force to split but I think they will hang around ...
I think Rexy will have to make this tough decision before the end of the year.

Zhang Dan/Zhang yi Bo according to tournament software are representing Macau.

It was mentioned somewhere in the forum previously too, but I did a quick search and couldn't find the source.

Really... I assume Zhang Dan is the same one who used to be Zhang Yawen's partner. They were rising stars, before Zhang Dan disappeared due to injuries, I think. Wish her the best!

Actually with Zhang Dan's experience, I won't really calling this one an upset.

It's still an upset if you taking into consideration that Zhang Dan is training in Macau (suppose this is the case), where the training resource (both material and human -- say sparring partners) is not comparable to that of Team China. We all see how CH got worse and worse after leaving the national team.
