It's out......INA has a realistic chance of winning at least a title here in XD and maybe WD??

    I don't expect it
Usually, Maria didn't perform in her level when play in 1st round

Against a Chinese player, it's always gonna be difficult. It's not surprising if she loses.

Unfavourable drawing for Alamsyah as he will meet Olympic Bronze medalist, Chen Jin at first round.

Maria and other may pull out in favour of DEN/French....by participating Macau, they wont have time to get their Visa done so some coaches will pull out some names.....plus Maria needs more training...

Yup, I agree the big names should pull out and concentrate on Euro circuits. No way they can sustain the performance over a month of continuous competition since Chinese Taipei.

    Throwing away my 3 sens..

..if most of the top players (esp. from CHN and KOR) decide not to attend the upcoming SS, esp. the European circuit, i think the other top players who are still playing now should also skip those tourneys. They should all gather in November when China Open and Hong Kong Open Super Series reconvene. The European SS will start in a month but the current players who are still playing will have, technically, less than a month to rest & prepare.
In a way, there should be more junior and up & coming players competing in next month's European SS, with possibly all of the European top players competing (not to say the European SS are less significant/competitive; but it's just the timing factor).
With a full 1+ month rest, all the top players should come ready, fully rested & prepared for the season's last 2 big tourneys.
