You must hate a lot of players then since a good number of them scream after winning a point, clench their fists and practice gamesmanship.
YULIANTI Maria Kristin vs NEHWAL Saina -yulianti has the slight edge. im going to guess 3 games, but it could be done in 2 tight ones. OHTSUKA Tadashi / MASUDA Keita vs HWANG Jiman / LEE Jaejin -the japanese are playing unbelievable badminton right now. after seeing their match again the indo's yesterday, i fully expect them to challenge for a medal. their chemistry is good, defense is amazing and with park joo bong behind them, they should be able to get by the koreans. japanese in 3. PI Hongyan vs ZHANG Ning-i cant give a straight answer on this match. for me, its 50:50. zhang ning hasnt been in form recently, and pi has been medicore. i expect a hard fought match. the slightest of edges go to zhang ning because of the home crowd support. BACH Howard / MALAYTHONG Bob vs CAI Yun / FU Haifeng -easy match for the 2nd seed. cai/fu in 2 games LU Lan vs WONG Mew Choo -tough game for lu lan. i can see a potential upset here, but on paper the chinese player should come out ahead. wong is very persistent and will try 110% to get everything back. if lu lan can stick with the plan by moving wmc and show consistency (like she alwasy does), she'll win. if she let wmc's style get to her, expect a huge upset. lu lan in 3. RASMUSSEN Jonas / PAASKE Lars vs MATEUSIAK Robert / LOGOSZ Michal -the great danes in 2 XIE Xingfang vs XU Huaiwen -should be a realtively easy stroll for the #1 seed. xie in 2 games WEI Yili / ZHANG Yawen vs YU Yang / DU Jing -will we see a match order? regardless, i think the younger pair's attacking style will not only propel them past their fellow compatriots, but also to the top of the podium. yu and du in 2 games KIDO Markis / SETIAWAN Hendra vs KOO Kien Keat / TA N Boon Heong (match of the day) -can kido/setiawan finally beat this young and very talented malaysian pair? i dont think so. the record should be 6-0 by tomorrow. koo and tan are playing well, dispatching of the japanese pair yesterday without much trouble. on the other hand, the reigning world champions were taken to 3 games by china's #2 team. both indo players (imo) have only been average. as long as koo is strong as the front, and tan isnt letting the pressure get to him, i expect the malaysians to go through. tan/koo in 3 games
I think LYB will let ZYW/WY win over DJ/YY. Yup, LYB will keep YY for XD after ZB/GL lost. But I hope that's not gonna happen. It's nice if YY get tired so INA's pair can easily beat them. Ok, it's about an hour to go, and I'm still on my way to work.
yy has played both before in the same tournament. unless yy says to lyb that she cant physically play both, then expect her imo to move on.
Yeah, since the Chinese WDs are equally strong, they shouldn't kill each other on the court, which will do them more harm than good -injury bug sucks if it hits in an inappropiate moment. Is it gonna be played in the centre court ? We don't get to see the games that are not broadcasted from it.
totally. i had to rush home, my sons are not fed, diapers are not changed, i bare ate, and now i am stuck here, *waiting* for the matches to start.
