The Apacs EdgeSaber 10 should be available at 10n10. If not give Classic Sports a ring @ 62538858

My friend also broke the string after a few hits. He is a pretty strong player but even then I don't think a BG80 could break that easily. The first string on there was a BG68Ti at 24 lbs and that broke within a few hits for him. After that we put a BG80 at 24 lbs and that also broke within a few hits. I myself never had any problems with APACS rackets maybe because I'm not as strong as my friend, but now I'm starting to think that it is the racket causing the string to snap so easily.

Also if you guys are looking for a review of this racket, I feel that it is a very defensive racket and very maneuverable. It is kind of hard to generate power, I feel like it is too light for me at 4U. But for those defensive players out there, this racket is perfect. It is different from the ArcSaber10 mainly because of the weight difference I think. I have never had any problems with the string snapping easily on any other APACS rackets I have tried, but then again I am just an intermediate player. Much different story for my friend who snapped the strings on the EdgeSaber 10 with just a few hits.

ES10: I removed all the factory-grommets and inspected them that they have sharp edges, i grinded a little into tapered shape to be not so sharp-edge, replaced all with generic grommets. String snaps no more (so far)

Wow you really is a DIY expert who can study even the grommet details.
Still remember Pro Ace Evolution 900 which without grommet.
After the modification, so how you is your opinion about this Edge Saber 10 ?

Thanks4ur compliment. Sometimes nothing to do, then would examine/"post mortem" it. Ya,those days had some issues with the 900, string sound n repulsion is good, really can feel the shuttle hit onto the string, unfortunately string wont last long, so ended up add-in grommets into the hole which are without. Problem solved.

ES10 is a good overall, headlight to even-balance and shiny~~~

What I did on my previous 900 was put grommets to those without gromment point but inside surface I cut extra length of the gromment to be same level with the frame surface.

From these small modification, I still felt 900 same as grommentless.

But until 900 cracked due to wear and tears, I changed to EdgeSaber10.

I use a arcsaber 10 and i heard about this racket and purchased it from a seller on here and i have to say i was amazed by the quality compared to the yonex equivelent. I bought it thinking it wouldnt be very good and a poor version of the Arcsaber 10. But i have to say im more than happy to use it and recomend it to any player that has a arcsaber 10 even though its a bit more balenced

I agree with you, the best is the edge saber can withstand higher tension than the arc saber10. Besides, the quality and color is fantastic.hehehe....Yonex got to watch out....clone dna of arc saber10.hehe

I think the difference is only the paint job. There may be a small variation between all the rackets mentioned.

Hi all, About all these Apac Rackets, I have a question and I been looking thru all the comments in this thread to try to find an answer but to no avail.

Can someone tell me if beside the quality compared with Yones. Does these clone actually play and feel the same?
Does it have same weight and characteristic of the original Yonex?
If the answer is "Yes" then it would be a good buy.
Knowing because its cheaper, and the quality is not that durable.

Any one to answer on this question?
