The Chinese squad had an efficient way to punish non-performing players - force them to do video cam duty.

In the finals, the "honour" went to Bao Chunlai and Wei Yili. Both, esp Bao looked ever so bored. Bao especially looked like he just woke up from sleep, and yawned quite a few times.

Would have been better had he had someone to talk to ......

Zhu Lin looked so pale and tired yesterday. She looked convincingly exhausted. Every 1 or 2 points, she would ask for a shuttlecock change etc. just so that she can get a few extra breath of air. She would also walk around for around 10 seconds many times out of no reason at all [except to rest]. The umpire even gave her a yellow card for her 'delay' tactics...

Yes, I've seen her doing this before and I think umpires must not be too lenient at the expense of her opponent! She should be punished for her repeated delaying tactics!

Dont think Hau-ge will be in BKK. He will be staying in INA for a while.

Everyone knows Zhu Lin is the least fit among the new generation of CHN WS, maybe even less than Zhang Ning now. The list of Zhu Lin conquerers is very long - including S'pore ex-player Li Li and Ella Diehl. Maria almost added her name on that list.

Imagine Zhu Lin was already gasping for breath in game 1. Apparently Li Yongbo's endurance training regiment hasn't worked on her yet.

Her endurance is not caused by LYB's training regiment.

    Poor Bao

Poor Bao. He looked bored and totally annoyed with so many people asking for his signature, photos, hold his hands, bla bla - I have to admit that being him would be very annoying, he should feel like a 'tourist object'. I was sitting at the same row as he did (just realized that after I sat down and heard all the crowds -_-") and his expression was totally unhappy, and he even rejected some pic/signature requests and those who could take pix with him got only his stare and "annoyed" look - no smile at all. I bet he was so glad to see Yili came and replaced his "punishment".

More on Bao. During SF, he went to the wrong court! Shouts from the committee didnt reach him that some of them ran and "guided" him to the correct court. Hehehe...

And yesterday, a funny moment happened when JPN WD smashed and the birdie hit Lilyana's forehead. She fell down and rubbing her forehead with a big sneering smile. Vita then took the birdie with her racquet and hit it back to the JPN troop and now the birdie hit Satoko's (or Miyuki's??) forehead! The stadium went to laughter (including the referee) and for 2-3 minutes the two pairs said sorry to each other. It was the funniest moment at INA O for me :D

    Don't quite understand your comment.

I said, LYB's endurance training hasn't worked on her. Which implies that if Zhu Lin did undergo endurance training, her fitness should be better than before. Surely CHN coaches would know that it is one of her major shortcomings and worked on it.
