Okay, I think I have a few Korean MD pix to share. I'm surprised that a Taiwanese player wore spectacles to play.
Thank you. But pls don't be mistaken... my surname is not Kok which some of the BC members I have met had thought. Surname is far from this... very different. Yes... when she lost in the semis... AO was over for me! Super boring liao!
Thank you for the other 2 photos man! That was her, disappointed after the semis lost. Could tell she was really wanting to win. Guess the win could have meant a big deal to her for one reason or another. Had cheered so hard for her but I guess some things are not meant to be. Like a friend said, no matter how well both parties played, someone has to lost in a match of badminton. Once again, thank you for the 2 great pics! Had wished I had brought my D40X along... another regret into my regrets book of life... haa haa!
Sorry, that's all we had. No big gathering and very few BC members were able to meet. So a few of us, namely Sealman, Jimbo, hFang, tjl_vanguard, abedeng and I, managed to take dinner together at the Old Airport Road food centre for two nights. I met up with Hauge and fastdrop for lunch on two earlier occasions at the "Tofu" food court at the nearby brand new shopping complex, Kallang Leisure Dome Park, adjacent to the Kallang Theatre which is expected to be demolished to make way for another brand new building. This food court is a popular meeting place for fans and players alike. Will try to post some pix later. But I caught some BC members in the SIS stadium after the matches:
i though the commentator said that misbun didnt even came to cw during the 1nd set interval when he leading 11-0? anyway, thanks for the pics, bro
Yeah I couldn't meet up with you guys for dinner on Sun as I had to leave early for training. Didn't know that you guys met up on Sat for dinner as well...... Btw, it's "Kou Fu" Food Court and not "Tofu" Food Court.
It was actually Donna Kellogg who got the red card for time wasting. If I'm not wrong, she purposely untied her shoe lace and tied it back slowly.
