If LCW did crumble under pressure, the G2 score cannot be 21-18. Would be more like 21-13. Confidence is related to thoroughly relevant preparations. Quite clear LD was very well prepared and played superb while LCW was deactivated in G1.But he managed to shake off G1 and played decent in G2. LD was too good for him today. LD used to fear TH because TH was quite intimidating skillwise and physically stronger than now. Also because TH played so little then, LD did not have much chance to practise against him.Along came LCW to challenge and 'train' LD ,in the process helping him to raise his level of play and with it ,greater confidence. That's why LD has to thank LCW for helping him get over his fear of TH.
