I think he meant the team event Taufik vs Boonsak. Boonsak won for team event but Indonesia won the match 3-1

    MEN'S SINGLES
    Taufik Hidayat
vs Kendrick Lee Yen Hui -- Taufik has suffered so much, losing in all his finals this year. Kendrick has found the belief in his abilities, having slain Sony and Boonsak. Advantage to Taufik, he has more experience in high pressure matches. Then again, Kendrick has no pressure.

    MEN'S DOUBLES
    Markis Kido/Hendra Setiawan
vs Hendri Kurniawan Saputra/Hendra Wijaya -- Kido/Setiawan to cement their reputation as World Champions here.

    WOMEN'S SINGLES
    Adriyanti Firdasari
vs Maria Kristin Yulianti -- I would go for Firda. No, not because Krisna wants to see her smile, but Firda knows how to win this, and as title holder, when playing against your teammate, it is easier than playing against other opponents.

    WOMEN'S DOUBLES
Vita Marissa/Liliyana Natsir vs Jo Novita/Greysia Polii -- In real life, Vita/Butet are much stronger than Jo/Greysia, fullstop.

    MIXED DOUBLES
Sudket Prapakamol/Saralee Thoungthongkam vs Flandy Limpele/Vita Marissa (MATCH OF THE DAY) -- Sudket/Saralee deserve a title for their brilliant improvement, beating the top 2 XD pairs from CHN and INA over the past few weeks. Having said that, the calm Flandy/Vita combination can take this away, if Flandy's deception is top notch and Vita forces Saralee further from the net. Hopefully the umpiring and line judging doesn't destroy this match .........

I'm hoping that Singapore will get a surprise gold.

Monopoly by INA is not good for the game, even in southeast Asia! :D:D:D

    GO, GO, GO SINGAPORE

    KENDRICK, HENDRI & HENDRA

    Give of your best
And Singapore will do the rest

Is this gonna be the day when non-INA opponents defeat their INA nemesis for the first time?
KL has met TH at least twice this year, inching closer with each subsequent match.KL's indirect weapon seems to be his unsettling effect on his opponent.BP lost to KL because he had no idea where a much improved KL was coming from. For a player who comes across moving so heavily and yet can win, KL burns up half of his opponent's mental energy, just getting them puzzled. We'll see what TH 's mind is made of.

This 'gold medals clean-sweep' thingy really annoys Taufik. :)

From Koran tempo : (someone please translate)

I believe we will have 6 gold medals from badminton in total.

Made in Thailand beaten by Made in Singapore

Made in Thailand beaten by Made in Singapore,
Today hopefully he can do it too to Made in Bandung ??
Kendrick backhand is powerful too,but Taufik is the Master of that
with variety and style in backhand sometime Taufik show overhead backhand
where he jump from the middle of the court (very rare).Ohh we can see the battle of the backhand from two difference player.Ayuh & Jia Yo

    Wow:

When the clean sweep question being asked to Christian hadinata, Taufik Hidayat ,who was behind him, suddenly interrupted.
" You guys reporters always keep asking about the clean sweep......if you want to keep winning, why dont you guys play?"

Wow...I guess TH does not like to be pressured....I want to see the face opf that reporter after being yelled.....:D:D

China open '07,sudket/saralee won over zeng bo/gao ling & xie/yawen then lost to nova/butet in final. I don't think any bad line call affected s/s performance. S/s still won over 2 chn xd,then lost to ina.
In france open '07, s/s won over nova/butet then lost to flandy/vita.
Am i right? Most of points made by duo tha yesterday was from ina's mistake&miscommunication, then it made sudket to play better previous game.Saralee? Not too special.

Last night malam Jumaat Keliwon(Friday night) I dream he was eating Mee Bandung at Puncak Bandung and he said it hot & spicy???.:D:D:D
