Matches will start from 2pm local time as usual.

    MEN'S SINGLES
    Taufik Hidayat
vs Kendrick Lee Yen Hui -- Kendrick has improved a lot, beating Boonsak Ponsana today. However, a fully motivated Taufik might not give Kendrick too much chance tomorrow.

    MEN'S DOUBLES
    Markis Kido/Hendra Setiawan
vs Hendri Kurniawan Saputra/Hendra Wijaya -- a close candidate for the Match of the Day. Expect another rubber match, with Kido/Hendra having an edge.

    WOMEN'S SINGLES
Adriyanti Firdasari vs Maria Kristin Yulianti -- both gals have done well in reaching the Final. Maria needs to win something this year

    WOMEN'S DOUBLES
Vita Marissa/Liliyana Natsir vs Jo Novita/Greysia Polii -- Butet will be motivated to win this one since she missed out on the XD Final. On paper, Vita/Butet are stronger than Jo/Greysia.

    MIXED DOUBLES
Sudket Prapakamol/Saralee Thoungthongkam vs Flandy Limpele/Vita Marissa (MATCH OF THE DAY) -- Sudket/Saralee deserve a title for their unbelievable form over the past few weeks. So, I won't be sad if Flandy/Vita lose to them. However, I think Flandy/Vita do have an edge over the Thai pair.

Hendra/Hendri have beaten Kido/Hendra several times in 2006, but not this year. I have the record in my laptop...not now though since I am in an internet cafe

As for Flandy/Vita vs Sudket/Saralee, the INA pair never lost to them.

Will the final starts with XD, as usual?

Or they will put it as a last match, hoping Vita Marissa will be tired enough after WD match?

    MEN'S SINGLES
Taufik Hidayat vs Kendrick Lee Yen Hui -- In terms of skills, Taufik is the KING. For this match, I'd rather toss the coin or give a call to the linesman or umpire

    MEN'S DOUBLES
Markis Kido/Hendra Setiawan vs Hendri Kurniawan Saputra/Hendra Wijaya -- The world champ has a slight edge over the SG pair. A rubber game but not a tensed one :)

    MIXED DOUBLES
Sudket Prapakamol/Saralee Thoungthongkam vs Flandy Limpele/Vita Marissa (MATCH OF THE DAY) -- This is indeed a "match of the day". If the match is held on a neutral venue, I'd go for INA pair. Too bad, it's Thailand so... emotions overrule technical (Speaking on behalf of linesman)

Btw, i just knew that in sf today,nova/butet was far leading to sudket/saralee 18-13 in 2nd,and they needed only 3 points more to win. But then, mistakes and mistakes were made by butet, and so did nova.
As far as i know,flandy/vita is better mentally than nova/butet.They're also technically better than sudket/saralee.What they dont have know is an advantage as host. But i do believe flandy/vita can win in 2 straight games!<if there's no bad line call>.
Kido/hendra also can win over hendra/hendri.Joko/hendra is one/two level below kido. Not amazed me they lost to sin.But tomorrow is different for sin.
For taufik,he will do the best.Kendrick's won over sony&bonsaak has waken up a tiger inside taufik. He will not be playing like an amateur anymore, cos he know that kendrick is a dangerous one,not just as a participant anymore.

i agree with badMania's analysis, except:

    - i think Saralee/Sudket will have a high chance against Flandy/Vita. S/S has been playing really well this couple of months and now that they are at home, they should be fired up to win.

Dont think so Justin, Msia no representative. Indonesia TVRI will show, Spore Channel 5 will show. So unless you in JB, can get Channel 5, wait for Aerotus et al to upload the videos.

    And I agree with Kwun.
XD - Sudket/Saralee could have played better in China Open if they were not effected by a bad fault call in Semi. Same thing happened in HK Open.

MD- Kido/Setiawan have been on a high run. Anticipate it will continue. Mighty mouse & mighty pillar will face tough fight tough.
