Yes we strayed. Humble apologies! ;)
BTW, I won't be joining you for Russia. Insufficient time for me and I've not even located the website yet!
    Good Luck to you! ;)

A lot of people aren't getting in though, even the usual cats.
Maybe now is my chance to not finish last :p

Hi..i'm here to say sorry for those who i've offended before.:)Well, those r bad times, when we couldn't handle our young bad blood..but here we are now..hand in hand, for peace.:)

For those who r still angry n couldn't accept the fact of the "so-called" dirty play..just remember, fighting against each other won't change a bit of the situation either..it'll just make things worse, esp the relations between each BC members.:(

Those stuffs r supposed to be handled by IBF,BWF..not us.We r here,in BC or in any badminton forums,r only to support our countries, players, chit chat, talk about badminton, learn more about it.Not to fight against those who got different opinion or worse..attacking members from other countries.:(

So..i'm happy that someone opened this thread.So..again,i'm sorry if i offended anyone before. For the love of badminton, let us all make up between one to another.:):)

    Good day..

Your time frame is way off. Even though it may be programmed in our genes, we are still talking about relative minor actions, such as an argument, a key stroke, etc. We should all be able to handle them with logic and dignity :)

So BC is really a forum for information exchange, mostly technical information. If we can keep politics, etc. out of the discussion, we will not misbehave as we usually do. Technical things have some basis, which forms the foundations for debates. BCers should stay on that course and base the discussion on facts, not go out on some hard to prove topics, which usually degenerate rapidly into politics.

I know a lot of BCers are not happy with certain games and matches or ways some matches being conducted. I know there were some truth or facts to the arguments. Then let's try to help making changes to the rules or the improvement to prevent them from happening again. And let's help more and better next generations of players to come. Badminton is a growing sports with growing pain. It is no way perfect or near perfect. That's why our discussions may be helpful to find the common ground for strengthening and hastening the process :D

You said well, let's discuss the things objectively for the good of the sports.

Since kwun may have been on the plane, we haven't got any "off topic" warning signal from him yet. But we have covered a lot ground. What else can we do besides making friends while little is going on. Holiday season is time for friendship and peace, perfect timing :D

thank you, all of you, that came here and supported the quest for peace. and i just wanted to state that i am all for discussion, even heated ones, as long as we know where the line is drawn.

and birdwood i am all for fighting but i support clean fight. meaning when we debate, stay on topic and dont stray to sensitive issues like religion, land of birth or personal issues.

i am so happy to see so many gentlemen here. :)

My own fault really - as with all dance and sport, it takes two (or more) to tango. I allowed myself to get baited and hence the all-out handbags. I suppose the mods had enough of that and put a lid on it.
No, it's not boring because there's no fighting, more of a case of people already knowing the bottom line or said what you have just posted.

    Don't mind me, really.:)

How about women? They fight too and we are not likely to know what gender of BCers in fighting. In term of clean fight, I don't know if we will ever achieve that. If the facts are clear, there would be no need to fight so I think fighting in BC are easily to be muddled by other factors. Maybe we should hope fights will at least be as clean as possible? Fighting to achieve peace or for peace. New concept again :crying::D

    All we need is LOVE

True... They were talking about dirty curtains and dirty linen... getting off-topic. :D:D:D

Actually, it is quite simple to have peace... All we need to do is to agree to disagree. :):):)

But is it boring when we have PEACE ?

The answer will depend on this question... "Do we need hostilities in order to let not BOREDOM set in ? ".

The tango that you 2 were dancing was not in time with the music.

So... our moderators yelled "STOP !!!". :D:D:D

No need to be sarcastic, I can hear you singing beautifully......

"Imagine all the people, sharing all the world ..." and "All you need is Love ...". :):):)

    Cheers... chris@ccc

The easiest road to online peace is silence :)

That only stops fighting and fighting is not finished. Can it continue later . I'm not sure stop fighting equals to peace :D. But it sure will help, and that's what kwun and company were busy doing all the time, putting off fires and returning fires all over the place :crying::eek:
