Taufik-ist, since all Msia MD pairs lost, I also hope Kido/Setiawan win to break the great wall and gain some confidence.

But after a spell, would like to see Tony/Chandra go up against Fu/Cai in the Finals(and of course win, could be their last HK Open bf retiring). I think they met last in AE or Swiss Open, even then Tony/Chandra stretched them to 3 sets.

But which pair you prefer more? The 2000 OG Champs or 2007 World Champs?
Legends(too disrespectful to give them nicknames) or Mighty Mouse + Mighty Pole

unfortunately no...man dun get me wrong I am a big fan of them but if you look at Candra-Tony......the way they kill is so artistic...is like a slice on the nect with Kido-Hendra is more like a stab all over the place lol
(They used to kill smoothly look at the INA open a couple of years when they beat Candra-Sigit or so)

I do wanna watch Kido-Hendra play in real life maybe next yrs Thomas cup if it is held after May....hopefully it is after May lol

Kido/Hendra have started NOT TO RELY on too many smashes when facing top oppositions. Still, they beat the Japanese pairs with fair amount of smashes from Kido and sometimes Hendra (just waiting in front of the net to kill the bird).

Watch the Chinese-Taipei Open Final and you will know what I mean. That was Hendra at his best! Paaske/Rasmussen were just frustrated with the brilliant placements and trick shots by Hendra.

And they have played THE MOST NUMBER OF MATCHES among the 4 semi-finalists today

Kido/Hendra -- 5 matches in both Kejurnas and CO, 3 matches in HKO (13)
Fu/Cai -- 4 matches in the Olympics test, 1 match in China Mobile Cup, 1 match in CO and 3 matches in HKO (9)
Luluk/Alvent -- 5 matches in Kejurnas, 1 match in CO and 3 matches in HKO (9)
Tony/Candra -- just 1 match in CO and 3 matches in HKO (4)

Tony is on fire definitely but you will be on fire too by predicting a win for LCW. This is the match I have been waiting for -- LD vs LCW unless LD blows it against CJ.

This is a grudge match after what had happened at CO.

Hmm..CJ vs. LCW in MS Final sounds good too..

..personally, i wouldn't mind to see a CJ vs. LCW Final..And see if CJ can figure out a way to redeem himself after losing to CJ in last week's Semi Finals of the CHN Open..And at the same time, to see whether LCW can still win with the same tactical style he displayed at that match..;)..

Nope disagree -- LCW has beaten CJ in the last two encounters (not just one) so it is no fun watching it (even if CJ has worked out his strategy to beat LCW).

LD has managed to avoid meeting LCW for as many tournamants that I can remember and it is time for a rematch.

Think about it - this will be an appropriate FINALE (LD vs LCW, 1st and 2nd seeds) to this year's SS (given that there is doubt of the SS grand Finals happening and China already said they would not participate).

    Ah..

..so i take it you want LCW to face CHN's "best"...and no other but LD??...:);)..

The Badzine report stated that LCW was limping off the court after the high quality match against Gade. Hauge, Kwun, BadMania and HK gang, could you please verify this? Doesn't look good if the injury is acting up.

Having said that, I am happy to see LCW's consistency back on track, in fact better than LD for the past 6 months. Only had one bad tournament, and that was the World Championships.

I predict at least one of these matches are going to result in a "withdrawal due to an unclear injury"... Whoever needs more points to go to the Olympics will "get" the quick victory...
