if it is to be LD vs LCW.......then it will be really a clash of the titans.......the last time they met was in china master right??? won by LD in rubber games??
Well, LD will get a walkover or a practice match with CJ, then he'll thrash LCW in the final. At least LCW don't have to worry about winning. Play like in FO, enjoy the badminton and don't let the left knee get worse.
Not sure about that at all.. LD has enough points to be quite secure 1st ranked for OG.. LYB may want CJ to get more points to get as high ranking as possible for OG... If the mnatch is thrown I would suspect it would be CJ who gets the win.. But on the other hand LYB may be afraid that LCW will gather to many points and be "safe" in 2 place on the ranking if he takes the title, so maybe he feels LD has a bigger chance of taking the points away from LCW /T
LCW still has Kenneth to worry about. Kenneth has been playing well and quietly and the way he dispatched the Hashim brothers was just amazing with a 21-5 to each brother. LCW will be expecting a tough match from Kenneth. Assuming a LD-LCW final comes true, LCW has to keep his expectation low as LD surely will have some "advantage" from his teammate. Wait... Has anyone thought of a CJ-LCW final? Possible reasons could be to increase CJ's OQ points and not to expose LD to LCW yet.
Kenneth Jonassen has as much of a chance against Lee Chong Wei as a chicken has in a Chinese soup stall. The Hashim brothers are not a good reference point... ...they have descended to almost club level badminton now. KJ will get diced, eaten and digested before LCW begins to even break a sweat
According to the reports, Lee CW leg was still pain. It left a big question mark over how will he perform tomorrow
It is such a coincidence that this year's HK open Men singles semi-final has exactly the same 4 participants in it. Only difference is that they are now facing different opponents. Last year semi: LD vs Kenneth LCW vs CJ Final: LD vs LCW Winner: LD This year semi: LD vs CJ LCW vs Kenneth
There is no surprise if CJ withdraws, then LD can have a good rest for another day by enjoying watching LCW and KJ fighting life and death on the court. Eventually, LD beats LCW as LCW running out of stamina.
Not much research necessary, since some of my favorite matches were the semi and final of HK open 06... so it just came to mind. The best player out of the last 4 at this time will win... is that a good enough answer? I actually want to see a CJ vs Kenneth final, but that's not very likely though.
LD lost in the first round in OC means he got more time to rest then LCW,which means it'll be so hard for LCW to win..well,that is only if LCW can win tommorow's match against Jonassen.
