Incredible!!! Yang Wei and Zhang Jiewen just knew how to turn on the afterburner at the right moment, they took the victory from the jaws of defeat again.

    Well done, YW/ZJW!!!!

    Points are so close
    12-21 21-19 21-19
Korean pair lead most of the time, Incredibly YW/ZJW are able to pull them off, and win the title, well done.

Now didnt I say earlier that KKK/TBH would win easily?

Sure, they weren't really focused in the 1st game but once they started to warm up and got their rhythm, the "old" Danish pair just could not keep up.

Wow!! Yang/Zhang had nerve of steel and the Korean pairs lost their nerve when they lead by 4 points 18-14 in third set and only managed to earn 1 points after that. Yang/Zhang deserved to win.

She is quite neutral, most of the time stating something obvious and with her trade mark slogans "how on earth ...", "badminton at its best". She is best when team up with Morten Frost. Julian Clark still is one of the best in the world, the only combo that I think did better that her is Zhoa Jianhua/She May Yen back in Star Sports during 90s in Mandarin.

More like nerves of very thick concrete walls supported by steel. :D That was how Yang/Zhang won the World Championships in KL. They were far down against their compatriots, but still came back to win it.

Brilliant performances has displayed by Lu Lan and He Hanbin/Yu Yang based on their hard efforts to win the titles here. Lu Lan has defeated world class WS shuttlers, XXF-reigning World Champ Zhu Lin and Zhang Ning also similar strory for He/Yu who has dumped three XD top-names successfully, Flandy/Vita-Xie/Zhang and former World Champ Nathan/Gail.

Seems MAS world #1 Koo/Tan have found a new way, back to right track as high calibre MD pair who possible will take back-to-back SS titles after AE and SUI SS... Yeah, once again they have denied China to create clean-sweep same as they had done in All England last March. Congratulation!

Unfortunately BCL remarkable breakthrough to beat TH, CJ and LCW in second round, quarter and semifinal respectively must stop at the end by his compatriot LD. I think MS final was the anti-climax and totally uninteresting match yesterday when LD outclassed Bao with straight games. Honestly, LD reached his 4th SS title this time 'supported' by BCL who has destroyed LD's two arch-rivals en route to finale. And we will wait and see, how far can Super Dan walk at upcoming French SS? (as he gets tough drawing there...)

Couldn't agree more...:D That was what I thought when they came up with the Golf channel... No offence intended to anyone, but golf is boring in my opinion.Astro should have a badminton or racquet sports channel as robin7 had suggested as many Malaysians love badminton and even squash:D p/s:I'm still a bit upset about Nicol David's loss....don't give up Nicol!!! :D

Undeniably, LD's win is "helped" by his teammate BCL, and his title in DEN is much easier than LCW's title in JPN.
