Ooops! This song title is sensitive issue now between INA and MAS...

Chen Jin, China bright talent who become LD successor next. This young man has defeated several top-player (except his team-mate) such as PG/KJ, LCW and TH thus far. Probably CJ is one of 3 MS players that sent by CHN for next year Beijing games.

Let's see his performance in upcoming 2 SS tourneys in Odense and Paris...

Congrats to Chen Jin. He deserves credit for beating Wong and Taufik in two closely contested matches en-route to winning the championship.

CJ definitely have a bright future, and clearly a leading candidate for the younger CHN MS team as this moment. Hope he can continue his development. :)

Chen Jin is a player with very solid denfse, excellent footwork, great fighting spirit and mental toughness. Lin Dan once commented Chen Jin this way too.

Chen Jin can achieve more than Bao ChunLai for sure because of his mental toughness. The mental strengh is so important in the big games. Bao's lack of that made him Mr. Runner-up in so many finals. I am sorry to say that Bao is doomed to be under the shadow of Lin Dan and Chen Jin in his whole career.

With that said, let us look at Chen Jin's racket skill. I would say all his shots are good shots, but almost none of them are excellent in terms of skills.
To be honest, his game is not very enjoyable to watch. I do not think he has any lethal weapon so far. His smash can not always find the side lines like Lin Dan's cross court smash. I do not think he has too much deception either. His game so far is pretty straight forward, replying on physical power and speed a lot. Fortunately he can afford to do it now. But as he gets older, can he still maintain his physical power as now? Come on, Chen Jin, develop you skills more to make youself even a better and enjoyable player!
