Today is the third day of competition as we enter R16 for most events except for Men's Singles.

The number of INA players in R16 are not too many, compared to previous tourneys, but, I have said earlier that I am not expecting much either.

    MEN'S SINGLES
Mohd Roslin Hashim vs Dionysius Hayom Rumbaka -- a tough match for Rumbaka and I expect the veteran MAS player to sail through the third round where he will possibly face his fellow player Yogendran Krishnan.

Taufik Hidayat vs Hsieh Yu-Hsin -- the first of today's possible 2 matches for Taufik and he should handle them well. He should face Ng Wei later tonight.

Phuong N.D. vs Tommy Sugiarto -- should be a breeze for Tommy to prepare him for the more difficult task later at night, possibly against Gong Weijie.

Kenn Lim vs Wisnu Haryo Putro -- tough to predict, but, I will pick the INA player to win. If he wins, he should face Chen Hong tonight.

    MEN'S DOUBLES
Hendra A. Gunawan/Joko Riyadivs Lee Jae Jin/Hwang Ji Man -- a super tough match for AG/Joko and I am not expecting them to win.

Markis Kido/Hendra Setiawan vs Chien Yu-Hsun/Lin Yu-Lang -- should be a good workout for the reigning World Champion to prepare them for the tough match against possibly Hendri Kurniawan Saputra/Hendra Wijaya tomorrow.

    WOMEN'S SINGLES
Saina Nehwal vs Rosaria Yusfin Pungkasari -- a tough ordeal for Pipin and I believe the Indian junior will do well in Macau.

Adriyanti Firdasari vs Soratja Chansrisukot -- with at least a QF appearance here and in the Dutch Open, Firda should be able to make the main draw for the remaining Super Series events. QF will be the target here and anything extra will be a bonus.

Sylvinna Kurniawan vs Xie Xingfang -- Sylvi had a good match yesterday but Xie should prove too much for her.

    MIXED DOUBLES
Devin Lahardi/Lita Nurlita vs Kennevic Asuncion/Kennie Asuncion -- similarly for Devin/Lita, they will reach the QF at most and interestingly, the matches they had in the Chinese-Taipei and Macau Open are THE SAME  Only the order is reversed now. If Devin/Lita win, they should face Han Sang Hoon/Lee Hyo Jung in the QF.

I 333% agree with badMania's predictions and analysis!

Just one note: Xie Xinfang have performed uncharacteristically disoriented several times this year. So I can only cross my fingers when Sylvi faces here today... :p

Today's matches will started by MS at 13.00 local time (12.00 Jakarta time). And night-session (R/16) of MS (scheduled at 21.00) will serve several possible interesting clash such as :

    Tommy Sugiarto vs Gong Weijie
Wong Choong Han vs Nguyen Tien Minh
Chen Jin vs Lee Hyun Il
Park Sung Hwan vs Yeoh Kay Bin

TH has very bright chance here to book final ticket on Sunday. And probably will face one of CHN top shuttler, BCL or CH.

Maybe, Rudy Huang is watching in the stadium now and we waiting the result from him soon...

Perhaps the BWF should make it mandatory for all Gold level tournaments to use tournamentsoftware.com. If we at BC make a loud enough noise...

It's all plain sailing for Taufik Hidayat now as he plays Ng Wei later.
