Really, so he can represent INA for the Olympic 08 if he wants to....? with the permission of PBSI...of course
according to bulutangkis.com. or Badzine.com ( I forgot which one)...PBSI did ask Tony about it...Tony said that he would jump into it but according to BWF rule, he should not represent USA for 3 yrs or 2 yrs to be eligible....according to Tony, USA Badminton may allow him to partner with Cnadra for Olympics as USA realized that Tony could not represent USA...,,,,not sure with BWF.........
Off topic-Actually.. ..there's a thread/post in BC (forgot the thread) which brought up the issue on Tony's eligibility-yes, i believe it's a bit complex and won't be easy for PBSI to attain him back..
so happy to c lcw win,but sad cos no MD representative in this match.. but anyway wish kkk and tbh "HAPPY BIRTHDAY"!!!!
What a combination Sir Misbun and Lee Chong Wei!To defeat Lin Dan and Taufik for the Japan Open 2007 has proven Chong Wei deservedly to be one of the heavenly kings of badminton.Congratulations Chong Wei I admire your dedication and hard work to be the best.As for SIr Misbun you are one helluva of a coach. But sir your mission is not over yet. It's time for you to carry on your good work so that Malaysia has a realistic chance to go for our first ever gold medal in the Beijing Olympics.Once again,Syabas!
What a meaningful winning for both LCW and TR! LCW has defeated two current badminton superstars here, also TR has collapsed 4 Chinese WS en route to grab the title, speechless for their great performance this time... Unfortunately, INA failed in three finals. Maybe next destination in DEN or FRA? Big congratz for Chong Wei and Tine!
wijaya! none of my friends care about badminton...so please humor me by atleast pretending to be jealous....please. Today, I had the chance to spend the day at the yonex open finals! I had a front row seat. There was a lot of great badminton. the highlights of my day go like this. 1. see, hold, and swing about with the new yonex ARCSaber7. Gao Ling does use it by the way, and she won with it too! 2. peter gade sits right in front of me to watch Rasmussen win. 3. Watch wijaya and Gunawan win. Afterwards Wijaya, feeling elated, hits the winning point shuttle into the arena area seating....me and a few others jump up and ask him to hit another towards us...being the only white guy, he sees me when I say , "Hey! Wijaya!" and he taps it right into my hands! 4. I feel great, and go buy a new Nanno9000s and a pair of SHB100's It'd be nice if someone said, "hey, that's cool" without being sarcastic...thanks
