Exactly! I hope LCW would win but i think TH should not have any problem disposing LCW.

how about the scoreline like : 29-27; 27-29; 29-27, then it really doesn't matter who win, both must be playing great:D The fan win!!

TH has had a relatively easy path to the finals, other than playing CH in the first round. LCW on the other hand has won convincingly against both CJ and LD, so if i were a betting man (which i am), my money would be on LCW.

Resonating what badmania has already posted -

A SS title would be something TH would want under his belt particularl after an indifferent performance this year, also what could be more motivating than celebrating the birth of your child with a major win.

On the other hand LCW is in top form this year, grabbing another SS title will certainly make him top bet for the gold in beijing after LD

Going by form over this week LCW should win but TH come on make the upset...

it's not Olympic or WC or Asian Games, so should be LCW.

i'm not sure that'll necessarily be the case. remember, it's in beijing which give home ground advantage to all the top CHN players. secondly, the olympics is still a long way off, there are loads of SS events to go through before we even get there, not to mention the SS finals and another AE, so i wouldn't think a win here would make a significant difference to the chances of getting a gold medal in beijing.

agree - the olympics are a long way away and a lot of badminton has to be played in the run up to beijing

but if we were to look at contenders for the gold at this point in time with the given pool of players, their results this year and have to take a call(crystal gaze in a way with current facts) LCW is definetly in the running.

the WC did throw up interesting results and players like Sony/Anup etc did well but when it comes down to taking titles at major tourneys this year LCW and LD are definitely in the top rug...

I can say that both players are in very best condition. It's a FINAL match so I think everyone want to win....

I support Taufik cause like someone said before that if TH has reached FINAL so It's kinda hard to stop him.... reallyy... I mean it...

On the other hand LCW want to prove himself olso after the bad loss in WC 2007

Will see a tough match today....so I will stay late tonight to comment the match lively from USA

LCW has already achieved his target by going thru QF, so I would say that he has nothing to lose. Like some one you had pointed out earlier, both TH and LCW are winners regardless of the result. But for us, we definitely hope to see the battle of the titans to the limit and to see their full potential in this finals :D.

    Taufik

After watching the 2nd game of Lee - Lin, my vote goes to TH. Lin underperformed, maybe he was indeed mentally exhausted.
