    Lesson for BAM

Last thing MAS needs is local tournament for tune-up before international tournament!
Maybe they should schedule local tournaments AFTER international tournaments.
The way to generate badminton glitter among Malaysians is for MAS to win internationally, not perform locally. After all ,international tournaments can reach most Malaysians via TV but not local tournaments.

Its dissapointing to see how our players fared in this tourney. I really have no comments this time.

surprised to see that KKK/TBH and CTF/LWW are both out.

WMC is out also but i don't think many of us will think she can get pass XXF again.

but this JO is full of surprises in general. China isn't doing exactly well , Fu/Cai are out, and so is XZB/ZYW as well as Chen Yu losing to Chan Yan Kit of HKG.

I was quite shock to see the results today.

KKK and TBH debuted here back last year and they have been the runners up for this event and they crash out so early.

    sighh...

as usual, LCW is left to fly the flag on his own.

WMC met her expectations, beating XXF is always hard.

WD fell a bit short to a host pair, but not totally unexpected.

XD, well, not much was expected there anyway, more for experience really.

MD was, by far and large, utterly dissapointing. what with all the talk of using the JO to make up for the dissapointment in the WC, it's disturbing how fall short they fell. are we expecting too much of them??

Gee, Darien, you're sick. You come in like a vulture, circling over the MAS camp. If Rexy were to know of your post, he won't be flattered. He will stand by his boys knowing that they have trained very, very, very hard to no avail. Sometimes the rewards of hard work do not come immediately, esp. during a transition. cai/fu floundered for some 5 tournaments before they got back on their feet again. These are testing times and as long as MAS MDs continue to put in the hard work and have the belief and faith in themselves, they will come up again. They don't deserve any name calling.

The shuttle cock in JO is heavy and slow, favorable to slow and defensive players.

Don't be sore loser ... Singapore imports are made in Singapore !!! Their country didn't make them to be champions. They didn't even represent their countries in senior tournaments.

To lose all the doubles is a sad thing and it is beginning to point to very inconsistent players.

    Too much workload - perhaps.
    Too many games - perhaps.
Too much scoldings from coach - perhaps.
Too much playing each other (hence lowering their own standards) - perhaps

Too many reasons for failure - DEFINITELY !

Good thing LCW is still in. For all Malaysian fans, this is the only saviour to an otherwise humiliating defeat.

Really a big team especially from the MD side.. But, only left 1 (LCW).. I am expecting more surprise from the coaches side on BAM.. Maybe Rexy will resign again.. or how.. i m not sure.. Really a big disappointment again after the poor shown up during WC...

Next time no need to send such a big squad. Just the best 3 or 4 and then some youngsters to gain experience.
