Danish supporters making their presence felt the staronline DENMARK supporters are certainly making themselves feel at home in the World Championships in Bukit Jalil. Yesterday, about 40 supporters wore T-shirts with the motif of an Orang Utan holding a racquet and the words “Kami Sokong Denmark” (We support Denmark) printed on them. Said the group leader, Torben Lollike: “We made a research about Malaysia much earlier. We designed it at home and came prepared for the World Championships. We wanted some local flavour in it. “We also designed our own T-shirts at the last championships in Madrid. “We had a picture of a bull and replaced its horns with racquets. And many people wanted to buy our T-shirts.” The Danish supporters have always been a colourful lot and they plan to be the most vociferous ones at the Putra Stadium. wah!!denmark supporter is so supportive, thumbs up to them, wow it's gonna be interesting...with MAS supporter,INA supporter,Danish supporter and other supporter..they will rock the stadium.
Danish supporters are always awesome. Passionate, dedicated and gentlemanly at the same time. DENMARK!!!
That's great. Denmark had great support the last time they played at Putra Stadium 7 years ago. Except the group weren't in uniform.
thats the good spirit from danish supporter. i still wait to see Malaysian regular supporter ( the guys with malaysia flag shirt, headband ) run all over the stadium with flag. the true fans of malaysia badminton team i see since Malaysia won the thomas cup in KL.
A creative idea from Danish supporter! Maybe they can come to Jakarta next year and wear T-shirt with 'taste' of Indonesia for TUC/08 event...
*hahaha* That is so cool! Great spirit from the Danes! Anyone got a pic of the colourful M'sian supporters complete with kompang, etc?
Oo, u mean our head cheerleader guy. Once u see him, why not join in and learn the ropes. Then he can retire, doing this for 20 years is no joke, more so when his services are used not just to cheer our badminton squad.....
