    the problem,
    isnt with the players,
    but with the coach liyongbo
who can win all the time.. even lin dan needs a break, and i agree that lcw was totally on form against lindan..
why talk about passion when the players already dedicate their career in badminton... just turning one whole round but i dont understand why lyb need to save face, isit for lin dan, or just himself?

Not likely for LCW to do that because LYB told BAO to break LCW's leg some time ago.:D

Actually it is LYB getting extremely distraught that CHN lost 1 match out of 30 and he felt the slap on his face. Can you understand why he reacted in this way to the extent of warning LD?
LD was well prepared for SC. He was eager to play BP to prove that BP's SO07 victory was a fluke but the Thais were smart enough to deny him the opportunity and LYB was mad about it! LYB forgot he set the trend first; he denied LCW the opportunity to beat LD in IO07 by pulling LD out. LYB must understand that whatever dirt he dishes out to others, he will get many times back. It's a pity LYB derailed the LD-TH match. LD was desperate to check out his status vs TH. BP, LCW and TH are the 3 MS LD have to be alert to.
It's lucky at least LD got to play LCW. It shows that when LCW's match preparations are superb, no one can beat him. The match was not even close. In fact the match point was telling. LCW was so much in command that he finished with a drop so ruthlessly cold LD froze. Not a pretty sight for a WR1 to lose.
And if anyone thinks TH has a chance against LCW,take a look at this pattern:
TIME TAKEN BY LCW TO DEFEAT HIS OPPONENTS( most recent match)
    1. LD 43 mins
    2. BCL 35
    3. CH 34
    4. BP 32
    5. KJ 28
    6. AS 27
    7. KL 26
    8. KBH 23
Interestingly, it reflects the BWF rankings rather well.

How do you know LD wants to play BP in Sudriment this year?
How do you know that Thailand didn't just want to rest BP since they know there was no chance of beating China?
How do you know that LD really wants to check out TH, BP, and whoever.. are you a close friend of LD or even LYB?

If 21-17, 21-17 is considered not even close... then the times when TH beat LCW with 13 and 15 range, would that be considered as destroyed?

Lin Dan held a 30+games winning streak from May06 to Oct06, then he started losing a few games here and there, and now people think he is going downhill.:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

LCW held a 4 times quarter-finalist specialist position + 2 times 1st round out in just this year... then after a few wins, all of a sudden he is the best around... Okay...

Looking at some sort of stastics, then all of a sudden we can conclude LCW can beat TH in their next meeting... how about sharing the next lottery numbers with us instead with your awesome stastics ability.;)

PBSI, BAM, CBA - beware coz when Bananaboy, Cooler & Onetoughbirdie win it big at the lottery, they are going to start their own club & rope in the best players.....no, I'm just pulling your legs.

You are talking about 'the good, old days?' TH 's a WR1 in laziness and WRB (World Rank Bottom) in stamina. If he can't even get past the SF in IO07, with the INA crowd behind him, you expect him to go beyond that in other SS? TH's just going to be a spoiler in SS unless by some miracle he decides to actually work. This does not take away from the fact that he's great to watch.
In any case I'm delighted not a few, good BCF minds are stirred enough to respond.By the way, Bananaboy, you asked good questions. The answers lie in following media reports and each tournament closely esp. LYB's comments. He never minces his words.I never believe in spoonfeeding.

Just the right components of a Genius.
The skills + some lay off attitude + playboy charisma that make him adorable by so many.

Hm, where is the playboy charisma, when in most magazine pictures he is with Xie Xf. And his hairstyle  , every time I see his videos, its like a hen's ass :D
Maybe he has a personal stylist, I wouldn't want to know him/her :)

I guess this makes me a troll, but I watch badminton , not charisma and lay off/on :p

Back in TC 06, even Sato from Japan beat Taufik... so what's the big deal? Taufik went into the tournament with the injury, knowing that he could not do much against others at the time... only to show support to his country(well, at least by showing up:p)

I believe the Playboy charisma and all that stuff was referring to Taufik by V3i HoN6... so everything you say there except for always with XXF, still hold true since Taufik's hair style does look like a "hen's ass"(using your own description), too.;)

It better be a big sum of money... and each of us better win it at a different time, and definitely not together at the same draw.

I believe Cooler, Onetoughbirdie and myself are smart enough to invest the money something else, since badminton club only makes every little money (if anything at all) in Canada.:p

    To Joyous,
I will inform you when I win the lottery(all the important 6 numbers), so I can send you a portion of the winning money once you have a pay-pal account set up!!!:)

Thanks for explaning further, but I believe Cooler, Onetoughbirdie, and myself are more interested with the lottery winning numbers instead of additional information about your "Logic" of LCW winning predictions.:p
