I can see DEN may beat MAS 32 or 4-1....
HKG vs Thai...Thai may have a slight advantage with MS,XD and WD...3-2 for Thai

I agree with your predictions but I think it will be VERY CLOSE and Malaysia could end up winning. The crucial matches for both countries would be MS, WS, & WD. Denmark is likely to win in mixed if everything goes well while Malaysia is banking on KOO Kien Kiet & TAN Boon Heong in MD.

Peter GADE has to play his best to beat an in-form LEE C hong Wei and Tine RASMUSSEN will have to use her opportunity to edge out a slightly injured WONG Meu Choo (correct spelling?). I have not a clue with WD but I think Malaysia holds the slight advantage here which is why Denmark needs to win MS & WS to ensure their victory.

MAS vs. DEN will be very exciting!

THA vs. HKG much less so i am afraid to say.

    I beg to differ.

The THA vs HKG match is one of survival in Division 1. The two teams will have to battle hard to remain in the top Division.

However, the MAS vs DEN match (for 5th and 6th placings) is primarily for bragging rights and is not as important. I anticipate some of the 1st choice players will be rested. We will likely see Wong Choong Hann in action tomorrow.

    MAS v DEN:
MS LCW to win. If they play WCH, which is quite likely since he has not seen action yet, it could go either way depending who DEN fields
MD Hard to say now that KKK/TBH is totally off the boil. DEN might field the mighty JR/LP
WS If WMC is injured, expect Anita to play (and lose) again
WD Pretty sure MAS will win this one
XD More experiencing gaining exercise for the young MAS pair

Final score: DEN 3-2 or DEN 4-1. I don't think MAS cares anymore to be quite honest, as they survive in group 1.

    THA v HK:
The more interesting of the 2 matches I think as there is something at stake.
    MS Boonsak should clean up
MD HK MD has shown very well and can win this one
    WS Hak Mui will win
WD 2 weak pairs so it's a coin toss
XD If THA fields Sudket/Saralee, they'll win

Final score: THA 3 HK 2

from that stand point i do agree that it is true.

however, i was looking at the actual strength of the teams.

THA has absolute advantage in both MS and XD. HKG has slight advantage in WS. WD and MD they are fairly even.

having said that, HKG did take two point from DEN from MD and WD, so we will just have to wait and see !

So, 3rd-4th-5th-6th place is really not that important, just a formality.
No prizes and they get to stay in Group 1 next year.
So the excitement will be watch who gets First and who get booted to Group 2......:D

For some reason I think Malaysia will beat Denmark.

    XD - Denmark
MS - Malaysia (LCW is showing good form and maybe have a chance to win against PG)
WS - Malaysia (I think WMC is good enough to beat TR)
MD - Malaysia (I think the malay has a stronger MD but TBH/KKK is kind of off form but I think they can still win)
WD - I have no idea

I also think Wong Choon Hann will be in action, so does Anita Raj Kaur, since this match is really not that important, just a formality.

And I think any Denmark MD pair can beat TBH/KKK as TBH/KKK are totally out, hopefully TBH/KKK won't lost in straight set.

    Denmark will win.

    hard to predict...
it can be MAS 3-2 DEN

    or

    DEN 3-2 MAS

all depends on the key players of both team...

MAS could win if kkk/tbh perform...
and LCW played well against Gade...

    just wait and see...

    Malaysia Boleh!!!!

that's why i said it all depends on the key players of both team...

    you'll never know...

maybe they can, maybe they can't...
if they can, MAS could probably win...
if they can't and other players do not perform as well, DEN could have the win in their pocket...

    as simple as that...

and the fact that MAS 'smartly' only sent kkk/tbh for the MD does not give any other option but to accept that they are MAS key players despite their weak performance.... + (the fact that they are the only players available for MD makes them the key players as well)

    have faith...
    Malaysia Boleh!
