Goes down to games won, then points I think

At the moment its 6-6 between Eng and Mas on games, with Mas ahead by 4 points: http://www.tournamentsoftware.com/sport/draw.aspx?id=15280&draw=47

And I think they still have a realistic shot.

    MS DEN or INA
    MD INA
    WS DEN
    WD INA
XD (with Nova out only) INA or DEN

If the MS and XD is split then INA win 3-2. DEN today displayed some glaring weaknesses and I'm sure they too want to patch these up.

    Denmark - Ina :

XD: Before today game, I say Ina win. After today, only 50:50 even with Flandi/Vita.

    MS: Again 50:50

    WS: 52:48 for Tine

    MD: Ina pair had 54:46

WD: 50:50. Denmark will probably play Kamilla both in XD and WD.

All in all very tight games tomorrow.

madbad, if that happens, it will then depend on the results for all these 3 teams play against china, assuming England, Thailand and Malaysia defeat by china by the same margin (saying 0-5), then the runner up of the group will be decided by For (number of winning sets) minus Against (number of losing sets). I think Malaysia will put up their strongest formation and to try to beat China, this may not be the case if they beat England tonight....this event turns out to be a very exciting event!!

INA beat DEN 3-2 (XD, MD, WD)
INA beat HKG 4-1 (XD, MS, MD, WD)

If DEN beat KOR 3-2 (MS, WS, MD), things are tricky. Since all 3 teams lose at least once.

Otherwise, INA should progress to semi-final at the expense of DEN.

While INA has a realistic chance of reaching the semis, MAS now has to rely on help from THA to beat ENG, and then, MAS themselves have to beat the Thais. They only have themselves to blame if they crash out

Denmark weakness is only from MD today. WD is not their strongest pair. Denmark will play Kamilla/Lena.

Would be very bizarre if it came down to that, and still have all 3 teams tied in game differential (say W 5, L 10) and you had to resort to counting points!

Yes, you are right, MAS now has to go all out against CHN and pray for a miracle.:D

Jason, tonight line up is already their strongest line up. The most they can change is XD, WCH ppair with WPT or KKK/WPT.

But with that line up both KKK and WPT had to play twice every day in a very tight and tiring match.

And funnily enough, MAS still ahead of ENG in points

I think KKK/WPT will give a much better chance than the newly formed mixed pair. They all are professional players, playing 2 matches in a day by having at least 1-2 hours break in between should not be too much problem.

Eric Go - the key of win

MS player Eric Go is the key to make USA team win Canada. He brought the best chance for USA to win. And the lineup was very smart too.

USA Still has chance to win

USA still has chance to win, XD, MS and WD without Lily Zhou. Of cause, Lily can bring in some secure wins.

Not a surprise they call this group..

(as i mentioned earlier), it's the "Group of death"..:p
..Well, for tomorrow's match, after seeing their score today, i certainly wouldn't put a 3-2 advantage for INA..Most of the people would've predicted an INA win over KOR...And Taufik could very well lose tomorrow against Gade(as i recall, Taufik never had any particularly easy time playing against European players in Europe)...Tomorrow is nervous time for Taufik and company!!!..Imagine the nervousness that will be on the younger INA players..:p:eek::eek:;)..
It should be interesting to see what tomorrow's lineup will be for the INA's vs. DEN's squads..
