[quote=shyeling;587486]Two days before, i heard a news. It is about Li Yongbo's comment on 07 Sudirman Cup..
He said, M'sia is nothing because we are very weak in the event which involve women player..

Really disappointed to heard this kind of comment because we should all respect our opponent even thier level is lower than us.. More than that is, Li as a chief coach...

LYB ?? Maybe the 'gift of the gab' is not in him, wrong choice of words or psychological ploy as can be seen in many coaches; soccer & basketball alike. The important thing is not to let it affect the players in the entirety of the tournament.

Fully agree with your comment.Actually although there are almost 99% China will retain their title but anything is possible. As LYB said, china badminton team still having many enemy and other countries are still able to fight with them unlike the china table tennis team which are fully dominating the world. The china table tennis team had just won all the good medals and silver medals in the world championship recently. They are too strong but china badminton team still have some problem and enemy in other country.I just hope Mas team can fight with all their weapons.Even if they lose ,i hope they lose with full of pride.Good luck to all the country in the coming Sudirman Cup.

You're assuming Taufik can beat Chong Wei which I am quite doubtful with Taufik's current form. Anyway, it's a good problem if both player meet one another, at least we know both are in semi final :D

And that 2 criteria should already made the Korean WD special, don't you think so?

    I predict CHN 1st, MAS 2nd and INA 3rd.

But I want MAS to win by beating CHN 3:2 in the final...haha.......

This analysis makes the most sense. MAS has a good chance (90%) of making it into the semifinals and close to a 50-50 chance of winning the semi-final match (depending on opponent). The draw favors MAS as IN, KO, and DE will have to fight it out for a place in the semifinals. The team that tops the group will avoid playing China and has about a 50-50% with MAS (this will depend of which team tops the group). The second ranked team from that group will probably loose to China.
