I saw some articles that chen long is back training with the national team. Is that true?

He may be in Hainan with the team as part of an 'experts' group, assisting the coaches. I read that some others like Cai Yun and Gao Ling are also involved.

Many matches were not played during the National Championships. It seems at least some of the walkovers/cancellations were due to the players being unwell.

But now, there is a follow-up tournament going on; Sun Chao will be playing against Wang Zhengxing in the 1/8Finals today soon -- http://bdresult.badmintonadministra...Men&index=0&gameIndex=0&weapon=all&gender=M&F

Wang Zhengxing, the national champion, gave Sun Chao a walkover in the 1/8Finals; apparently, Wang Zhengxing had bad blisters. In the round following (QF), Sun Chao lost to Zhang Weiyi. Zhang Weiyi is not an unknown player -- he is one of the better domestic players.

Today's MS Final is between Zhang Weiyi (who beat Wu Kaian in the SF) and Gu Junfeng (who beat Pan Yinlong in the SF).

I remember he gave Kodai a run for his money in the WJC before the pandemic.
Any idea how bad is Yan Anqi's knee injury? She could have won the national championship if not for the injury she sustained in her match against Dai Wang.
I saw the match on livestream. When she fell down on the court, holding her knee and grimacing with pain glimpses of Xue Song suffering his career-ending meniscus tear in India came flashing back ln front of my eyes. If not for that injury Xue Song will be up there competing with the likes of Axelssen and Momota. Sad.

Why aren't they given a chance to play in international tournaments?? they are giving repetitive chances to sun feixiang and lei lanxi but they haven't shown any improvement yet.

Real pity about Yuan Anqi, China's best young WS hope. I don't have any details about her injury, but I hope the young girl will be alright, badminton or not.
