It is good to see players born in 2006,2007 in youth competitions.

Their golden era is already passed and need longer time to replicate that domination period which powered by LD, CL, Wang Trio, Li XR, Cai/Fu, Zhang/Zhao, Wang/Yu, etc.

Impressive display by the Japanese in the Malaysian juniors. Albeit Indonesia, India, Korea and China did not participate.

Some Chinese players are taking part in the Orlen Polish international. They have one player/pair in the main draw. Those I have heard of are Liu Hai Chao, Shang Yi chen and Zhou Xin Ru. Zhou Xin Ru was 2019 world junior girls doubles champion partnering Lin Fang ling.

Yuan An Qi is a very promising player, just 16. Xu Wen Jing, just 15, is Li Yi's protege. She took part in the Chinese Super league two years ago and gave Zhou Meng and Han Qianxi some good fights. She still has rooms for improvement.

Yuan Anqi, in particular, beat her older compatriots Sun Zichun in the semifinals and Zhang Xinran in the finals.

Agree.. At one point of time, it was rare to see someone from different country winning any major title.

Any updates on Chen Long's return? Would love to see him back, however i wouldn't expect any miracles from him (although i would love to witness some).

I am quite curious about their plans after the tournament.

Would they go back to China and undergo hotel quarantine before travelling back out to the world junior championships?
