Siwei is a much much better backcourt player than gideon though, but yeah he's usually much more solid in the defense.

I thought Marcus Gideon's specialty was the backcourt :D. For sure, Kevin's frontcourt is way better than Marcu's frontcourt :D.

Watanabe starting to play better, but Higashino, she is still pretty disappointing.

ZSW/HYQ’s key to winning, smashes to Arisa and HYQ killing off at the front court

Damn… seeing Arisa crying I feel for her, hopefully with this defeat they can only become better. They still have Paris 2024 to work for..

Watanabe could have played a little better. But I think Higashino just had a bad day. If Higashino had a better day, Watanabe was playing well enough to win. This just wasn't the Higashino that dominated in the first set of the AE.

Also, Watanabe and Higashino complaining about the service to the umpire is useless. It's the service judge that makes the call on the serve. If the service judge is doing his job, there is nothing for Watanabe and Higashino to complain about.

And power, and steepness, basically almost everything. he's good at maintaining the pressure though, kinda like kido back then.

I don't care if I was late to the occasion but what a time to be a Malaysian right now.

Zheng and Huang are simply a better mixed double than Watanabe and Higashino. They have a better Head to head also.
Why it sounds like ppl here arent happy with the win of these Chinese players?

I dint even realize zsw/hyq ranking dropped back to 2 again. I guess winning 7 titles on a roll still isn’t enough to beat the Thai pair lol

I hope AhsanHendra stays healthy though. They always have niggles but i would love them to play till 2024.

Also reasons are none of the MD looks like they are healthy. ShettyRR, AaronSoh, Minions, LeeWang looks like they have physical problems. Fajri has stamina problems. To me the one look healthiest is HokiKobayashi, thats why their rankings look good.

AaronSoh definitely saved their partnership today. Had they lost today match, the chorus of split will get even louder. It will still be loud though if they cant win any tournaments in the future.
