Ranking Minions in Top 5 MD for past 10 years or even 20 years, I disagree. An exciting and colourful pair they are and definitely ranked the best MD from 2017 till 2021. There was also a colorful MD pair prior to Minions emergence that has more medals than Minions although less Tournaments championship. ANd one half of that old Pair have even more WC medals than Kevin for which Kevin was said to resemble. And that Pair should rank ahead of Mnions.

Happy for HSP he deserved it after dismantling Momota yesterday
However, I beleive it's a wasted opportunity for LS to better his performance from last year, esp with LZJ gone.
I am afraid they annihilated each other's stamina to win tomorrow against a patient ZJP who'd be happy to do nothing but count unforced errors. Lucky for him that's what he knows and is good at.

Even Minions said in interview yesterday that they want to win a medal since they did not win any medal and Marcus said that he is 100% ok and lost 6 kgs after surgery. And also said that they don't wanna put too much pressure on themselves .

I think since Gideon surgery, he's not yet in 100%,,, but the think is that Kevin isn't as consistent as well... we'll see how it goes until the end of the year.

And for FajRi today, I think the key result is in the end of G1 when Rian make 2 service errors short in the score around 15'ish... but they showed a good character and mental toughness to win G1 by 2 points difference (a big relieve for me as well)... (also I think FajRi has more chance to win the game if they win G1,,, I've seen in matches against Hoki/Kobayashi and Leo/Daniel that when they lost G1, they can't win the match, even when it goes through G3).

In Game 2 FajRi become more and more confident and consistent... And I would suggest the slice smash should be patented to Fajar Alfian: He did it AGAIN to close the game and match, 21-16 (I think I've seen like 4-5 times that Fajar close the game or match with the deadly slice smash).

    Happy Badminton!!!
    :)

The winners of Axelsen vs Ginting will most likely win the title. I was excited to see LZJ and LS priced at 7 and 8. Damn didnt expect that to happen. I believe they have chance to trouble
Axe. Doesnt look like in part supreme giving 19 & 16. If INA wants to play a team game then the only way is to tire Axelsen and let JC apply the finishing kill.

Nishimoto cannot find a way to get point by playing rallies

Perhaps, he should play aggressively in the second game.

Truely, Kunlavut played like Momota 2019 this stadium.

    It was a good match.
LS could've won a silver, not so sure if I can say the same about HSP. However if he does medal it'll be huge for his morale.

Yeps with Shi's entry I have good hopes with the current MS line up in CHN ZJP and LSF are good too and on their given day they can create huge upsets the example of which we just saw in ZJP against LZJ.

A difficult job. Was just thinking how Gill has those vast array of facts to make things interesting. Aparna could also learn to pronounce the names more accurately. A commentator needs many skills nowadays!

Before learning from Gill, she should learn some badminton first, so that she can tell good shots from mediocre ones.

Minions have the same pressure as lebron james
Chasing MJ for GOAT status … lebron lost many NBA finals but after the loses he’s okay with it because he put everything he has
On the court and lost, its super tough to have all
That pressure on you to achieve. The mental mentality must be NUTS!

they said they tried their best and I believe it. If they didn’t coach Herry P would know rite away
And wouldn’t even put them on court.
    .
    .
    Another note :
i do find it weird when watching coach ricky Indonesia practices that they split kevin and marcus up when playing doubles most of the time or they play with there Jr alot.
