Was Axelsen dominant? Or Momota shite? I would tend to think it is the second. But - I fully agree that Axelsen is the top dog currently. Easily.
I think he held back because he knows Momota is going through a recovery phase and might be a bit disrespectful to celebrate like he usually does.
For Momota is concerned, take bold step to dismiss that Coach and work harder to change his game according to the current scenario . Will he do that? Next week , he is slated against Rasmus Gemke in R1 of Malaysia Masters. If Rasmus is not injured, we might see another exit. Otherwise, he may go far in that tournament
Momota should have chosen the better end. At least if he "wins" or do well in the first set, he will have more motivation How did he "trash" vitsdarn yesterday.
why jonathan can't beat viktor? he lob the lob. not smash it. what a stupid play! he should play like hariyanto arbi
Those who were able to beat Axelsen is like team event and grand prix gold. no one can beat him in SS , not especially if its the 1st week. the last one i truly remembered beating him at his own game is Loh KY last year.
I dunno. How he managed to trash Vitsdarn. I just hope he dun use stupid tactics like what he has been trying to do and just focus on winning. After all, stamina wise, he did not use much this tournament.
I just do not understand, why he even made the stupid decision to take the worst end when he should be concentrating on winning the first set and build upon that.
LCW appears during the prize ceremony! Btw, i'm loving the player introductions and flashy light graphics for the finals. More badminton events should do this to capture the appeal of the sport and seek out new audiences and sponsors.
Not undermining VA, but VA won his WC when Momota was still banned from playing, and the Olympic when Momota was struggling. If not for the accident, things might be different, which probably explained why VA controlled his celebration. Now VA is sitting on top and waiting for players to challenge him, including Momota.
I don't know, after seeing today's match, his strategy is total blunder. He don't have ability to defend by lunging forward and falling down. He is still lacking his physicality. Poor guy. He withstood a lot in recent years.
Did something happened to Vitidsarn? I've been off the radar for a while, might have missed important things about world badminton. Sent from my SM-N9208 using Tapatalk
