It is also easier for Axelsen to do attack clears against Momota than Momota against Axelsen because of their height.

Really disappointed and hoped for Momota to be closer to his old form and give it a better fight. VA is way ahead of the game like prime Momota of old. Momota still has a very, very long way to go :(

I think viktor is even more dominant than momota back in 2018/2019, the way he destroyed his opponent...unreal.

I’m not sure his shot quality is suffering because of the lack of pace in his movements or the vice versa

If Momota cannot defend smashes he should stop lifting

21-4, 21-7 , " absolute Masterclass" mentions Gill. Indeed. Who is there to challenge him? Only few who has beaten Viktor . Prannoy, Anderson, Sen etc. Hope to see more players to beat him in the near future . Otherwise, MS will be boring . We don't need that.

After the last point, Axelsen wanted to celebrate in front of Momota then changed his posture lol..

The match was insufferable to watch. Glad it's over. Momota really needs a makeover in terms of his physicality and stamina. Tactics wise as well.
