This week THA Open contains strong cast in all five categories, much better than the depleted one in Korea, thanks to favorable schedule, exactly held after TUC in same venue. INA MS protagonists, Christie and Ginting also IND top MD Rankireddy/Shetty, the notable names who pulled out here. Meanwhile reigning World Champion Loh Kean Yew skips the tournament and has opted to take part 31st SEA Games in Hanoi.

    Nishimoto has a hard draw.

Why would they even hold this at the same time as sea games?

To be honest, I thought tournament is not happening this week becoz of seagames.

    Tomorrow.

I don't know why they don't arrange the matches between Nishimoto vs Li Shi Feng, and Lu Guang Zu vs Brian Yang to court 1.

    Or at least court 2.

Momota lost 11-21, 8-21 against Zhao Junpeng. Ouch.

Nope, every member can do it :)

Talking about Nishimoto, I'm really impressed with his Thomas Cup semifinal match against Christie, less pressure, cold emotion and stayed composed to rise on the occasion when his team was at brink of defeat and left his opponent clueless. Unfortunately he couldn't replicate that performance and met inaccuracy here, lost two straight-games unexpectedly to Li SF.

It's ok, I wait for his loss more. ^-^

    Why ?

I want to see his coach changed (Nakanishi), when Nishimoto downed to team B, his coach will change automatically. (I don't care of the position of coach Nakanishi (Stay or Go), just want Nishimoto has something new in training.)

I want him to down to team B to win many super tours 300.

In super tour 300, I can watch Nishimoto matches more, he will play at court 1 or 2, and actually THERE ARE ALWAYS LIVESTREAM CHANNEL ALL COURT IN SUPER TOUR 300.

Heo KH has transformed into tough test suddenly for MS top contender suddenly, once again Viktor Axelsen needed to dig deep in opening game as the Korean read well to retrieve almost all of his shots, second game was more comfortable fashion for the Dane after he sealed crucial opening game, 21-19.

The stunning defeat for two-time World Champion, an unthinkable scoreline (8-21 / 11-21) in short duration (29 minutes) for a player who's once very powerful and near invincible back to 2019. It's not that Zhao JP played extremely terrific but the way Momota performed and lost tamely was grotesque, no self-belief and fighting spirit to expose his own quality shots, big mountain to climb for the Japanese ace.

Rare first round exit approaches one of current most consistent WS players, An SY who can't pass Christopheresen, her physical condition hasn't recovered yet here after several marathon matches last week in Uber Cup. Other high-ranked players, Okuhara and Sindhu have struggling opening round to beat unfamiliar rivals.

KM will have lost to that kind of score to Ginting if not because of his scrambling fighting spirit which looks nonexistent in TO.

    sad affair

I guess along with Team India and Korea rest of the teams were busy dancing and jumping as well...Momota,Chou Tien Chen,An se young almost all top players are underperforming though the Olympic Angels past through their opponents but 3 setter against the so opponents is shocking all three PVS,NO and TTY...I believe TTY had a 3 setter too but in her case the last two were wrapped in single digits  CYF was the lone Oly Angel two past through in straight games.

Momota lost almost 80% of his smashes, including cross-court and down the line smashes (which was brutal in 2018/19). His defence is basically guessing left or right. Man, he looks terrible today. He really needs some fresh air.

I thought that Momota was enough for me today, but I fotget that still Antonsen was waiting for me at the final match of today.

What was happening to the number 2 and 3 these days.

At least Antonsen tried to win and wasnt that far away, Momota on the other hand had no chance. Momota has to be injured or something.
