A topsy-turvy match between Anthony Sinisuka Ginting and Zhao Jun Peng. The second-set especially was tense as Ginting wasted 2 match pts, despite taking the first set comfortably 21-12. He also started the third-set slow, trailing 2-6, before coming back strongly to lead 18-11. Yet, the CHN player refused to give up and won 6 straight-pts to make it 17-18. Luckily, Ginting regained his composure and won 21-17 to take a 1-0 lead.
Whats even worse is that Im at work and cannot watch livestream for another 1,5h Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
wrong desicion by malaysian team management. Aron chia has defeated chirag/chetty in their last 4 meetings
I think MAS may lose to IND if they don't win the first doubles. The Malaysian MS2 and MS3 are too inexperienced compared to the Indian players. Although I know LJH once beat Prannoy before but he hasnt had exposure to top level tournaments other than team events so I do think it does affect his potential. I don't think NTY has a very good record against higher ranked players so far, hopefully he can deliver today though. Sent from my SM-A307GN using Tapatalk
Some of the fans of Malaysia seems like using derrogative terms denoting Ginting and sen in this thread. Hope Cheung take notice of it before going out of control.
Chirag was the better player today, holding the fort. Rankireddy was a ball of nerves making ameturish mistakes. If anything they should be more relieved then happy by the win.
If Laksha Sen had won the first match against LZJ, India would be in such a nice position now against Malaysia, and be up 2-0. I have not followed Malaysia's national team lately so I don't really know the rest of the players they have lined up against India, aside from Aaron Chia, probably the only player that I notice (and of course everyone knows about LZJ). But from the players that India has lined up against Malaysia, I kind of like India's lineup. At 1-1, I still favor India, but I think this would be in the bag for India had Laksha Sen won against LZJ.
It's weird. Only the India vs Malaysia BWF stream on Youtube is lagging. The Denmark vs Korea stream runs just fine with no lag.
