With his change of style from before Olympic of baiting opponents to play along his left side down the line which he had superb accuracy and sudden injection of pace to win points, now he is everywhere which he fails miserably. Any average players can beat him now.

WHY played too passively, he should have beaten the old Dane. If they meet again, my guess the outcome would be different.

WHY play fine, but he didn't read vittinghus forehand cross net properly and missed a couple easy put away, that causes him the hesitation and ultimately the match. Lesson learned.

I think more likely Indoensia 3:1 China this time, China need to punch a hole in INA both MD or MS2 to have a chance.

TC, why can't they have a rest day today and play the QF tomorrow?

Yes, what a cramped schedule, they should arrange 10 days instead of 8-day competition.

I feel Daddies are not dependable & won’t play vs CHN.

    Alvian/Ardianto, Fikri/Bagas will play instead.

All last matches in Thomas Cup group stage presented enticing turnaround and less predictable yesterday, all group winners win the tie in same scoreline 3-2 describing high quality competition between 8 teams.

INA v KOR, the more-fancied Indonesia fielded a quite gambling line-up to rest Christie and they need to dig deep, bounced back after trailed behind 0-2. Ginting continues his dismal form, never won in three matches here including how he lost to Heo KH. Kevin/Ahsan combination didn't work well against Korean new hotshots Kang/Seo. Fortunately, the reliable Rhustavito paved the way to keep INA chance alive and overcame Jeon HJ followed by more experienced Alfian/Ardianto to subdue rookies Jin Y/Na SS. 20 years old Syabda Belawa became decisive factor to secure top position for Indonesia, he showed true grit to turn the tables 6-11 after interval break of third game and left Lee YG in big disappointment.

TPE-IND, Sen fails to rise to the occasion as Chou TC has vast experience to handle pressure in critical moment. The Olympic Champs Lee/Wang who look back in good form contribute next point for TPE. Srikanth delivers glimmer of hope to beat Wang TW in two quick games then Lu/Yang secured top position for TPE.

DEN-CHN, as predicted the Danes won over China in 3-2, same scoreline when they beat badminton powerhouse last time in 1998 edition. Lu GZ applied right strategy to push tall Axelsen ran every corner with his agility and fast game but his persistent inconsistency emerged in next two games, completely blank and dictated by the Olympic Champion. It's Li Shifeng who seized attention and beat high-favoured Antonsen in three games meanhwile Weng HY outlasted by the veteran Vittinghus.

MAS-JPN, once very powerful and near invincible MS player Kento Momota continues poor showing, something wrong with his self confidence, frustrated and being inferior to face Lee ZJ. The in-form Asian Champion outclasses the helpless former world number one in one way traffic clash. The doubles category went to MAS side, Tsuneyama and Nishimoto narrow the defeat to conquer Liew Daren and Leong JH respectively.

Also he was too slow while vittinghus played like a young man who was moving fast, weng honyang was like a older one with slow movements.
