I can proudly say that my home tournament Syed Modi International May be a S300 event but at least we have a dedicated Badminton Stadium and not some multi sport stadium which is turned into a badminton stadium only during such tourneys and people here know how to carpet the floor and place the sponsor decorative boards at the railings to the sepctators' seating areas and most amazingly at least 2 Courts are STREAMED LIVE since Day 1 of the tournament.

Now coming to this so called S1000 event "Badminton Asian Championships" then lemme say that this thing looks more of a joke as if its played under a tarp and this whole stadium looks even worse than a local badminton stadium even S100 Orleans masters had better quality than this thing.

The stairs in the background of Court 3 are clearly visible no boarding done nothing and for a monent I could let that pass given at least we are able to watch the match which is the point of the streaming but then when it comes to streaming their Youtube Channel sucks...basically Fans are at the mercy of this dilapidated organization that is handling the tournament.

    No Infrastructure:mad:
    No LIVE streaming
    No Tech handling

    Im done with this Tournament:mad:

I think Li Shifeng is a relatively young, up-and-coming talent no doubt but he's still finding his way and getting to understand his strengths and weaknesses and making adjustments to his game as he goes along; hence his fluctuating form after showing initial promise with a couple of sensational match victories a while ago. Obviously, some rough edges to smooth over as he transitions out of his formative stage of growth and development as a player.

I believe he will soon come of age and play to his true strengths in good time to realise his full potential. Let time tell.

You may want to say the same of Lakshya Sen, to me, he will outperform any of the current crop of Indian MS.

Apparently, Kento Momota is struggling with his self-confidence and lacking in self-belief at the moment, he's unable to play freely and to his strengths. I'm afraid, only he can help himself.

Even Weng Hongyang is having a hard time with SGP Jason Teh.

Good win for Lee Zii Jia. SFX is very good at flat play, but he didn't have any smash.

I saw Jason Teh play against NTY at least 3 times, and I don't even remember him winning even once.

Weng Hongyang just beat NTY recently. I think NTY must be really badly off form or either Jason improved a lot.

It was close until the final few points of G2 when Jason started to slip up. Jason Teh must've benefited quite a bit from his sparring with WC Loh Kean Yew, his compatriot.

Chico and Sun Feixiang used to be better than LZJ as juniors but now he has surpassed them.

I think he deserves praise for that.

I wonder if you’re at the stadium? It looks like playing conditions are quite windy. Sometimes it appeared playing badminton outdoors. I sense most of the matches were 3 setters as playing were struggling to get a hold of the drift. Can you please comment on that, if you gotten to see them live?

S1000 level tournament but the coverage and live streams for it seems like s300 and below. What a joke…
