Felt like LSF was under prepared coming into this tournament. And of course, Misha’s unorthodox gameplay threw him off a bit

I see they have played very short days starting in the morning and stopped in the afternoon. Why so? Why the organizer didn't start the tournament only on Wednesday and gave a holiday to the players on Tuesday?

There is no qualification matches but still they started the Tournament on Tuesday and there are only 16 WD pair. so, that could be the reason

True, every young player also has different phases to develop.

    Awww.. Sen lost. Excuses? Lol
Must be this great tips eh. ;)

Sorry to hear that mate. Lakshya is improving and has not won any major yet as of March 2022. Am talking about either S1000 or WC or OG. Maybe he will someday if he works hard enough am sure.

So, in order to beat Lakshya, you need to see the video which Viktor beat him in the AE 2022 final. Firstly, Sen is a defensive and stroke player. He hardly have any strong smashes. He is good in his drives, so avoid playing drive or parallel shots with him or giving him dangling shots to kill you. Most short players are good at this. His reflex is good meaning you cannot try to push fast shots to him, he is ready for you due to the fact that he is defensive. He is good in netting also, you need to push him to the back. Be patient.

He is fit. So, for all players who wants to beat him, you just need to grind him out to play simple shots to the 4 corners. You cannot afford to smash or drive him blindly. You will kill yourself making mistakes and giving him free points. Just do the normal strokes and kill when opportunity comes. Do not rush or slack playing him. This means you need to have a game or point plans to know when you are about to kill and ready for his returns immediately. You notice a lot of players lost to him because they rushed and this causes them to make unnecessary mistakes. If you are below 30 years old, you should be able to match his fitness to play safe shots. Don't get sucked in and over do the killing to tire yourself or make a fool of your self just like LKY (India open 2022), Antonsen and LZJ in AE2022. I am sure they learnt from this lost since they got stung before. Be a smart player. Viktor learnt it quickly after loosing to him in German Open. Or perhaps Viktor already knows how to handle him and not keen in small money German Open; thats why Viktor purposely lose to him to boost his confidence. Remember that Vitid beaten him in German Open final in 2022

He's still young, it's natural if he hasn't been consistent

Three promoted players from reserved list check into MS quarters, INA third-ranked player Shesar Hiren Rhustavito should maintain his good opportunity as none seeded left at upper-half of draw, he beat IND rising star Lakshya Sen who has problem to analyse unfamiliar opponent pattern. The opening game was really tight contest, the steady Vito took the initiative to attack and seized momentum at last crucial points. The more confident Indonesian injected the pace in second game and controlled entire match to outwit the overwhelmed Sen. Recent SUI Open champion Jonatan Christie, Kunlavut Vitidsarn, Srikanth Kidambi safely through into last eight round without serious problem.

None of CHN player secure quarterfinal spot, a stunning setback particularly highlighted by the Olympic Champion. Chen Yufei uninspiring form is sustained transforming into lethargic and inaccurate version, bad omen for CHN to defend Uber Cup next month. Kim GE plays good rally game that requires endurance and patience plus strong stamina, the Chinese star really out of context than usually less-error display. Interesting turnaround happened to Wang ZY-Busanan clash when Wang delayed her Thai opponent two straight-games victory in trailing badly 2-11, the Chinese made comeback to score 12 consecutive points. In deciding game, reversal of fortune swifted to Busanan to narrow deficit 10-15 then won 21-18.

Didn’t think KOSH still had the goods to go 3 gruelling games against an aggressive opponent a dozen years his junior…but they came through. What a match.

Hope he still has something left in the tank for the semis.

Weng Hongyang is a very good player, his defense is good but he is also aggressive with sharp attack. I think he could be the next superstar for China, not to mention he's quite young as well.

NTY has some gaps in his game and I'm sure he knows what they are too. I hope he comes back better and maybe add some more variation in his playing style and up the pace as well as work on his defense against hard smashes.

Weng Hong Yang might be the next star for CHN if developed properly. I like his style and smashes.

Please Don't engage conversation with him. It's waste of your energy. We all know his hatred towards Indians. If you are new, please in future , try to put him in Ignore list. So that, you won't get tempted to reply him. Good luck. Even Administrator got frustrated and tried to ban him . Such a character he is. So.. Try to avoid him.
On the other hand, SHR is a good player. He played really well to beat Lakshya Sen.
