Thank you tbgoh for all the videos you have posted. I have now registered 4 new juniors who I will be looking out for. They are Sun Chao, Zhu ,Liu Chenxi and another who played and won against Sun Chao. Cant read mandarin so dont know his name.
Of all the juniors in the international scene , Lakshya Sen is the most promising. Pity Li Shifeng hasnt been competing enough.

I think you are referring to Deng Donglei (邓冬雷). He is not a junior player. Another player on my watch list is Pan Yinlong (潘胤龙), born in 2006, from Hubei. Saw him play in Justfun's ABC Club channel. Quite good skills and has a powerful attack.

CBA decided to undergo overseas training that will based in Chiangmai (THA) and they expected to compete BWF tournaments regularly, started from Europe tours in March then followed by KOR Open & Masters (April), TUC & THA Open (May), INA-MAS-SGP (June/July), Tokyo World Champioships & JPN Open (August). It means they will not going back to China until Hangzhou Asian Games (September) to avoid strict quarantine rules at home.

Perhaps those low-ranked players (Lei, Gu, Weng) could take part one of above tournaments (if there's any qualification round), it'll take time longer for them to participate international tournaments due to inadequate ranking point.

I wonder why they picked Chiangmai. I would have thought Malaysia would be better in terms of language. Maybe Chiangmai is further away from main attractions?

Also some new combinations in doubles will find to improve their rankings if they don't participate in lower level tournaments.

Didn't get to watch the match.

But keep in mind that the Germans, while being not among the top pairs, didn't have to cope with travel, quarantine measurements and were well accustomed to the hall.

Both singles players had good skills. They displayed good temperament, timing, deception and attack. They have good potential.

China's badminton at the German open is doing well.Zhao Jun Peng, I didnt expect him to improve so much. Always liked his style but he made so many unforced errors it was painful to watch.. His coaches have done an amazing job to turn a disappointing player into a stylish accomplished one. Its so difficult to get rid of bad habits but he has shown it can be done. I take back all the negative things I have said about him. He is a delight to watch. Maybe he was coached by Zhao Jian hua. :)

Ou Xuanyi stepped into the spotlight when he is “replacing” not one, but two of the best in Li Junhui and Zheng Siwei (obviously ZSW is still going strong with his new partner, but you get the point). What’s your impression? I think he does many things well but can’t make you say he is special yet. And given that ZSW is one of a kind player and is harder to match, seems that OXY has a brighter future in MD than in XD.

Ahh. Thomas and Uber Cup are in Thailand this year.

At the end of the six months will be the world championships in Tokyo. Easier to travel to.

He Bing Jiao finally exhibited her full talents. She played with great composure, got rid of her unforced errors and displayed good stamina. Her confidence was clear to see. Gone were returns which showed she was not sure or decisive. Her shots were so fast and instinctive. She played the same way against AY and ASY.
Her stamina allows her to do this as well as the excellent coaches who have made her into a more complete, confident and mature player. Congratulations to HBJ for winning the German Open.
It was a good match to watch.

Both Kunlavit and Lakshya demonstrated their skills when they were in their teens. I dont see any Chinese mens junior with this sort of talent. The CBA should gather their 15 year olds to compete at the international challenge events . Most of the juniors get exposed too late and when they get into tournaments they are not teenagers anymore. But the women seem to get the attention of the CBA ala Tan Ning. Even HBJ and CYF were on the scene at a young age.
I am always keen to see the juniors hoping for a KV or LS.
    Alas !!
    Just my 2 cents worth
