Hi, I need your wise advice. I have been playing badminton for a year. So far, I have been renting rackets. This year, I bought Astrox 77. And here is the question: Which strings schould I take ? - I'am beginnner/intermediate player. - Because it's 4U and medium stiff racket I would like to improve: control, and maybe smash a little bit. - I can only buy yonex strings. - I was thinking about 22-26 lbs tension. - Need good durability, I expect 6 month ( playing 2 times a week ) In this case which strings do you recommend ?
Yonex BG65, Yonex BG65TI, Yonex BG68TI, Yonex BG 6, Yonex Exbolt 63, Sent from my CLT-L29 using Tapatalk
I'd like to add the Nanogy99. A great allround string that beats the BG65 family in pretty much all aspects. Tension is a completely personal choice. Maybe start at 22 lbs. and move start moving up slowly with the next string jobs to come.
Even tho the string will be durable especially paired with a low tension would it be playable for 6 months. Restringing after half a year is quite a long time. I'll go with like exbolt or aerosonic around 20lbs.
I was thinking about NBG99 but in: "NBG99" thread i read that this strings are dead with low tension, and are good from 27lbs and up..what do you think ?
Sure, maybe it's too long. I am not a specialist. So how often is ok to change the strings ? Is it easy to feel that parameteres are getting worse ? As I said before, I play racket Sure, maybe it's too long. I am not a specialist. So how often is it ok to change the strings ? Is it easy to feel that parameteres are getting worse ? As i said before, I play only with rented racket and everytime It was different. I have no experience with strings
I cannot confirm this. At all. I mean, if you’re used to 27 lbs., all other strings will feel rather dead at 22‘ish.
I've heard good things about Victor 69 Nano strings. Durability of BG99 but with more POP and performance.
