    Happy Deepavali Nokh.
I wonder how you know the term ' Deepavali'. You must be having Tamil friends over there.

Over here it used to be Deepavali until about a decade ago, the term Diwali emerged.

Damn, they dont even spare Malaysia. I wished atleast other countries will not get affected by Hindi imposition. Pressure from the indian government must be behind this.

After today's matches, we should have a clearer picture of who are the favourites and who are the pretenders.

Great to see Deepavali discussion. By the way a lame question : Have Choi Sol Gyu and Seo Sae Jung split as pairs? Looks like Choi is playing with another partner for the upcoming 2 tournaments in Indonesia. Choi/Seo were really looking good and were growing stronger. Not sure what's happening with the KBA and why they decided to split them up.

But dragging politics is not great, its a great shame how some people mentally colonized and serve at the please of her majesty.

Coming the Choi/Seo, their recent performances are not so impressive.

Welcome Back Chandrasekhar. Long time no see. Happy Deepavali.

Coming to your question. May be one of them is not available for various reasons(Seo). Just guessing. Unless korean members here confirm it, we don't know the real reason.

Indeed, accumulated fatigue to play non-stop badminton since late September, he's very diligent player to take part many tournaments despite his age isn't young anymore.

Looking at current World Tour Ranking - Road To Bali standing, many top-ranked players don't have safe position unless performing very best in back to back INA Masters & INA Open.

Ko had a bit of problem in his right or left ankle while playing the finals of the French open itself. He collided with Shin. Perhaps it might have take a toll :(

Rinov Rivaldy/Pitha Haningtyas Mentari have a good chance of reaching the SF after they beat the Danish pair Mikkel Mikelsen/Rikke Soby. They will meet another Danish pair Niclas Nohr/Amelie Magelund tomorrow.

If they reach the SF, they will be in the 7th place in the Race to Bali.

What a comeback victory from the young INA pair of Pramudya Kusumawardana/Yeremia Erich Yoche Rambitan (21/22 this year), beating the TPE pair Lu Ching Yao/Yang Po Han 25-23, 14-21, 21-19; despite trailing 6-11 at the interval of the rubber-set.

They will face their senior Fajar Alfian/Mohd Rian Ardianto for a place in the last 4.

This pair is on the rise this year, having won the Spain Masters 2021 (World Tour Super 300, beating Kim Astrup/Anders Skaarup Rasmussen in the QF) and the Belgian International (International Challenge level) last week.

I look forward to their progress next year!
