The commentator on court 1 can understand Cantonese. He just translated what CTF said.

Unbelievable that this TPE pair needs to be rewarded service faults to win this match...

I agree with that sentiment about Higashino, previously it felt (to me) like they were often winning despite her, now she's actually contributing a lot. Still comparably weak in defense but they usually dont have to defend all that much :D

Phew....Praveen Jordan/Melati Daeva Oktavianti survived the 3rd set come-back by the Indian pair, to take it 21-19! They are likely to face Tang Chun Man/Tse Yuet Suet for a place in the last 4.

Meanwhile, Hendra Setiawan/Mohd Ahsan also beat the TPE pair in 3-sets: 21-16, 14-21, 21-15.

    Good results for INA.
TPE pair was running in circles from INA's shots.

Its not his fault. Its the fault of his coaches.
They turned him from one of the best attacking players to a deceptive strokeplayer. It was a necessary change to improve defence and have other weapons than just a good smash. But now he needs to return to his old game. Someone needs to talk to him.

I'm calling it. Momota would lose this match. If not in straight sets, he'll be stretching this into the decider. Just a wild guess.
