I was about to articulate about this. Momota is a sucker of long rallies, I don't think he really wants to end them quick, even against lesser opponents.

ha ha, but that goes for everyone. you just have to suck less times than your opponents. did you watch jordan/oktavianti match? how often does melati suck?

i agree today was not a good showing for higashino based on her individual standard, but, i always consider who they're playing. hdp/wyl can make any pair struggle. on the whole i didn't think yuta was his best today either, yet they won. they scored on the crucial points.
i'd say she's good, but not in the top 5 xd females.
her defense may never get better but i think by being the fastest and most powerful of all the xd females on tour makes up for it. she does make plays due to her speed that other females don't/can't make. it's pretty apparent hdp & hyq from china are the best all around females in xd. they have a higher level of their cumulative skill set. so the ?'n becomes who are the 3rd, 4th & 5th best xd females? who would you rather have as your partner: arisa, sapsiree or melati? i'd pick arisa.

as far as bird japan goes there's no better partner for watanabe.

The real question is, who's the defender in this match, though?

A bit of cheers here & there is okay. It creates an atmosphere.

Did anybody hear what Hendra said to TS during the intervals?

He didn't stay particularly long, so I would assume it was mostly moral support without much strategical advise

I am a bahasa expert. He was mostly talking about the cut percentage. He said the semi final prize money would be shared 60-40 with Setiawan gaining 5 percent bonus if Sugiarto reaches 15.

Heard him said to TS that he should go all out, but be cautious of the counterattacks by Momota.
