After such a long hiatus, all this badminton!! I had forgotten how difficult it was to juggle work, family, and being glued to the screen for an emotional rollercoaster. I am not complaining, of course.

Players need money, the more tournaments is the better. In this kind of Era, i wouldnt want to be called Olympic Champion or ThomasCup Champion if its just a name but no rewards. 20 years ago it would been different but now its even more so (money oriented) after the Pandemic.

Just like F1 which can pushed to 23 races next season or rebel football players waiting for their contract to expire to get huge sign in fees, etc.

CYF has been playing pretty much non-stop since the Olympics, with the National Games, Sudirman Cup and Uber Cup right after another.

Surely she needs some time to regenerate

Looks like lots of players are worn out after 2 weeks of SC/TC/UC action.

CQC just retired after complaining back injury. I think it was already there before the match started and they only played a few point just to show up before retiring.
